You have to get the crab rice, curry rice or any rice dish. It’s a little pricey for just rice but it is great and don’t forget to grab a Thai Tea
To me behavior and attitude matter the most than food and environment. That’s the area where Sunny Thai disappointed me and probably I won’t be there second time.
In their fried rice options, some include choice of protein, some don’t. I didn’t realize the difference initially and chose proteins which was considered as extra additional protein charges. Checking bills, I asked why the extra charges! They are supposed to let customer understand in a polite way. Instead the waiter behavior was literally aggressive. He literally said random vague things. He said I see the price breakdown in my device but I can’t understand you. Later I called for the manager. Upon arrival, her attitude was also similar as not understanding the menu is a crime.
Environment was good. Food was not satisfactory. Price seems high. Behavior towards customer was terrible. Not going to visit that place anymore.
Pad See Ew- soggy noodles. It was not good at all.
Spring rolls- rice paper hard and not edible.
Great food. A little expensive but the portion sizes are great and the food is always enjoyable.
Food was good just not great for 18.00 a small pate
To the eggplant tofu it was delicious
A must place for Thai food.

Visiting from San Antonio and our cousins brought us here and it did not disappoint! We had the steak Pho, orange chicken, yellow curry, and sesame chicken for entrees. For appetizers we had the wontons, wings, chicken dumplings, a cup of egg drop soup and chicken salad wraps. ALL the food was fresh and delicious!!! The side of rice was an entire bowl! Staff was great and very friendly! You must try this place out!’

This place… is not very good. I’m a bit perplexed by the good reviews. The restaurant itself is pretty casual, definitely more so than most Thai places I feel. Service was friendly. I ordered the salt and pepper squid and the khao piak sen/chicken with the crispy chicken skin as a topping (on the side). The squid was battered into a blob, the batter was undercooked but soaking in oil. It was an oily, squishy mess. Flavor was not there. The fried chicken skin had good flavor but again the batter is wrong. It felt heavy and it was not freshly fried. Super tough, barely any crunch. The khao piak sen is the biggest disappointment. The chicken pieces were overcooked and flavorless. The broth was murky and devoid of any flavor. The broth was like the hot boiling water they cooked the chicken and the noodles in? I love khao piak sen and this made me so sad to eat and pay money for. The noodles…. They came out in short clumps. It tasted old and floury. I will not come back but maybe the usual Thai fair is what people get and will taste better? I feel like the dishes I had were so poorly cooked, I really can’t imagine there’s a standout on the menu.
Just as an aside, this place is TOO casual for the tip options to START at 20%. It’s an akin to a fried chicken place.

Probably some of the most creative, unique food I've ever had. I believe I got the crispy beef which was thinly sliced beef, seasoned, and deep fried. Then it was sautéed in a sweet and spicy sauce too. Mmmmmm! With fried rice! And the soy sauce that came with the dumplings was also sweet and spicy. Yesss my food was so darn good! So I can't wait to go again. It was magic.
I love the pineapple curry! I drive 45 minutes a few times a month just to get it!
