Loved the birria tacos!
LOOK!.. If you're in S. Arlington and have a strong desire for street tacos, this is the ONLY place I've found that scores homeruns on their STREET TACOS!
The best place for any date. Sometimes I take myself on a date to Taco y Mas!... And they now have another location in Grand Prairie that's close as well.
This will, guaranteed, put a smile on your face.

Whatever you do don’t walk in & order by the QR code that’s taped onto their tables. I ordered & paid $50+ in food via the QR code & Apple Pay, for it to show “waiting restaurant acceptance” when I tried to ask the cashier she didn’t speak any English, nor did anyone at the restaurant, they couldn’t call anyone to help fix it & find my online order. Our only choice was to order again directly from her or leave. So another $50+ out tonight & honestly we thought the food was just ok. My birria taco meat lacked flavor IMO & were mostly soggy vs crisp. The street tacos- bistec flavor was off, but the pastor, and carnitas tasted okay. Standard cheap rice, refried beans & Mexican soda can’t really go wrong there. The majority of the tables were filthy, fountain soda machine broken, the place needs lots of TLC. Very disappointing experience & now to have to file a dispute to try to get the online order refunded.

The tacos were amazing. We got the Chicken tacos and grande burrito and Chicken tacos were actually yum! On the first go, didn’t think it would be actually that good but damn! Must try!

As someone from Mexico City, a place where tacos are a beloved culinary tradition, I was excited to try this spot, as it came highly recommended. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations, though I understand that sometimes you might visit a restaurant on an off day.
I ordered tacos de lengua, birria de barbacoa, and tripa. Right from the start, there were small service hiccups—my order was taken incorrectly, which delayed things a bit, and when the tacos arrived, a couple of them were unfortunately cold. I was particularly looking forward to the barbacoa, but it was much greasier than I’m accustomed to, and the flavors didn’t quite hit the mark.
The salsas are usually the soul of a taco experience, so I tried three different ones. Sadly, they seemed to have been sitting out for some time and tasted like they weren’t fresh. I’d recommend reviewing the freshness of the salsas to ensure that customers can enjoy them at their best.
Another aspect that stood out was the wait time—it was longer than expected, which can sometimes happen during busy hours, but it’s good to let customers know if there’s going to be a delay. Unfortunately, the next day, both my partner and I experienced some stomach discomfort, which could point to some issues with food handling practices.
Lastly, the price was a bit steep—nearly $40 for the meal. While I don’t mind paying for quality, I do think there’s room to improve the value offered, especially if certain details, like food temperature and freshness, are addressed.
I want to emphasize that I see great potential in this place—it has a lot of charm and a menu with interesting options. With some adjustments in service, food quality, and overall consistency, I think it could be a fantastic spot for taco lovers like myself. I hope this feedback is helpful, as I genuinely wish this restaurant the best moving forward!
