Outside of a few fine-dining places scattered over the state, you won't find a better home style Eastern European meal than right here. The food and drinks are worth every penny, the restaurant is relaxing, and the crew is as friendly as can be. Definitely coming back again.

An amazing experience and great food! I asked for recommendations because I couldn’t choose; I wanted to try everything. The sweetest man basically ordered for me and brought the best tilapia I’ve ever had, plus what I think was a Russian soda. It paired perfectly with the pickled mushrooms I had to try. My only complaint was that there weren’t more people in there. It was nice to be waited on quickly, but places like this really just feel more fun with people and noise... and feels great to see unique businesses striving!
PS: If they look closed, might not be. Just walk in, super welcoming!

My family and I have eaten here several times. The food is always delicious, the service is always lovely, and rhe atmosphere is superb.
We've tried several different things on the menu; our favorites are the Mushroom Kolduny, Pelmeni, and the Chicken Kiev. Forgot to take pictures this time but I'll add photos next time I visit.

We celebrated my birthday yesterday at A Taste of Europe! I have been craving pierogies and potato pancakes and after reading all the reviews, I decided this was the place. We drove 40 minutes and it was fully worth it. We were greeted by the owners and were seated right away. I noticed the warmth of the place like everyone else noted. We ordered red wine, I can't remember which one, but it was semi-sweet and recommended by the owner. We then had our mains; my husband and I shared everything because I wanted to try 3 entrees. We had fresh sauerkraut, Pierogies 50/50, Mushroom Kolduny, and Beef Stronganoff. Everything was wonderful! I had plenty of leftovers and enjoyed again at home

Wanted to try this place for a while. I was not disappointed. It wasn't busy, late lunch, so I was immediately sat. The stroganoff was great and came fast and hot. I was in and out in under 30 minutes.

I don't recommend this to anyone, neither the food nor the service. For that kind of money you can eat a great steak. Definitely not Russian or Ukrainian cuisine. I'd cook better, and I can't cook at all.
Beautiful Eastern European fare! I'm part Czech, and have not had a good perogie or potato pancake since I left NY. This guy is legit!
