This was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had here, which is really upsetting because I’m a regular customer. I ordered two boba drinks; a strawberry smoothie boba and a vanilla bean boba. After leaving the store and driving about 10 minutes, I noticed the strawberry smoothie looked absolutely disgusting. The bottom of the cup looked like dirty water and completely separated. I went back into the store to show them what happened, and instead of taking responsibility, they brushed it off and said that “this just happens with smoothies.” That explanation doesn’t make sense considering the vanilla bean boba I ordered at the exact same time was perfectly fine. No apology, no remake, and no real effort to fix the issue. For a place I always come to, this was extremely disappointing. I expect better quality and customer service, especially when something is clearly wrong with the drink.

Best Boba Spot in Town! Tea Cup has quickly become my go-to boba shop. Their Thai tea and smoothies are absolutely amazing; easily the best I’ve had in the area. I’ve tried a handful of other places nearby, but nothing matches the quality and flavor that Tea Cup consistently delivers.
The drinks are always fresh, perfectly balanced, and just the right level of sweetness. Whether you’re a boba fan or new to it, this place is a must-try. Highly recommended!

I left the store and as I was finishing my drink, realized that I had to spit out multiple rose petals and rosehips. They were hard and not digestible, had the texture of tree leaves. The lady who made my drink was nice, but this mistake was really bad given the high prices in this store. It’s unfortunate because this small business has been around forever, but the quality needs to match the price or it’s no good. When you make a simple rose milk tea, you put the extract in but not the hard rose petals.

I used to like this place but twice in a row I got green milk tea that tasted spoiled, it really smelled and tasted like a dirty toilet. They need to check freshness.
The guy who made my drink was very kind. The service was 10/10. I ordered an avocado smoothie with boba and it was amazing. Better than most places in Arlington. Give this mom and pop shop a try. You won't regret it.
