Wow! Monte saved the day on my daughter’s birthday cake. I mistakenly ordered my cake for pickup on the following week, but Monte came through with a true can-do attitude for an on-time celebration. I am truly thankful.

I met the owner Monte when he shopped at my old job. He was so kind and friendly and really left an impression, so after I got engaged I immediately sought him out.

Now, I still did my due diligence and also shopped around but came back to Monte for a couple reasons. His pricing was great, selection was awesome, as well as all the examples of incredible works he’s made. More than anything though, it was his ability to cater to my mom’s dietary needs. She is deathly allergic to the whey protein in dairy and not a single other bakery I checked out offered a dairy free option.

We emailed a bit about the details and I sent in an inspiration photo. I brought my fresh flowers in the day before the wedding and had it delivered on the day of. He absolutely nailed it! In all the rush of the day, our cake topper got missed and wasn’t placed on the cake, yet I wasn’t even upset. It was still beautiful and perfect. It tasted delicious and my mom was able to feel included, which was the most important thing of all.

I will continue to go to Monte with all my future celebratory dessert needs and will recommend him to everyone. Thanks for helping make our day so wonderful!

This has been the best custom cake experience that I have Ever had!!! I ordered a Carved Care Bear cake and some custom cupcakes. The cake was Amazing! It was Strawberry flavored...You could smell it as soon as you opened the box and it tasted as good as it looked and smelled!!! And the Cupcakes!? OMG everyone was Raving about them...they were almond and chocolate flavored!! If you're looking for a great custom cake, That's The Cake is it!!

Thry are out of their mind on their prices.They charge wedding cake prices fire a simple birthday cake.No way in hell I'm paying 300 dollars for a simple birthday cake. All I wanted was a small normal $30 cake that was ridro themed and they want 300 dollars.

What a fantastic find! These are some nice folks, with some seriously tasty cakes. A true family owned business. Grandmother is in the kitchen, father is cutting slices, son is taking custom orders. Recipes have been handed down a few generations. Tried several wonderful flavors. The lemon cake was an absolute stand out. Their work is beautiful. If you're going to splurge, do it here.

I’ve been using a bakery for years, but suddenly I decided to go with a different one this year my first time making a cake here and honestly, it was the easiest and fastest I ever made a cake custom I went online and send them a picture. They gave me a quote over the phone and the price was amazing. They made my cake exactly the way I wanted it. It was absolutely beautiful not only was beautiful. The cake was amazing and taste, it’s been four days since my party and the cake is still fresh and Very good Cake 🎂 I honestly recommend everyone who has a custom cake in mind to go here

We used That’s the Cake for a baby shower and retirement party, and the cakes were both gorgeous and delicious!!!! I can’t recommend them enough.
