The Plaza is a combo section within UTA's UC that has lots of restaurants and a nice section for seating to back them up. Several restaurants are found here like Chick-fil-A, TEACo., and Sushic, to name a few. I like coming here often mostly for the tea, but also because of the restaurant options, abundant seating, charging stations, and general chilled out vibes. Usually, in the Fall and Spring semesters, The Plaza has peak traffic and the restaurants are operating at regular hours because of it. During the Wintermester the restaurant dial back their hours because of the lack of students visiting The Plaza. In the summer, The Plaza is often a ghost town, as most of the restaurants close altogether or only open for odd summer events.
