We made a reservation and when we arrived we were ignored. There must have been some event, but the staff saw us standing there and chose not to acknowledge us. When the server with glasses walked by and I tried to get her attention, she turned away immediately. So we walked out.

Went for mom's 71st birthday. Food and service were solid. Thought they were having live music but that didn't happen. They menu was very limited, apps, salads, and burgers so don't believe the online menu it is outdated amd they were not willing to make things on it when requested. Overall, nice location and ambiance. We were 1 of 3 tables on the restaurant side Saturday night at 6pm.
Wow, what a huge surprise, definitely bigger in Texas. Troy’s has everything from good food to live entertainment. We were in a smaller area went to walk around and hound a huge entertainment center. A must go to when in Arlington, located next to Ranger stadium.

Atmosphere and service was great . The food was lacking flavor. There was no salt or seasoning to be found. Paid 98.00 for food that honestly I would've had better at chilis. The entertainment was great though. A live band with great songs. It's more like drunk people food because they wouldn't of known the difference.

I made a reservation for a Christmas Party with friends and they confirmed my reservation at least TWICE. We show up for our dinner and the manager tells us the have 2 private parties and Open Table must have messed up (where we made the reservation). She was very apologetic and accommodated us in a different restaurant in Texas Live. Not the same caliber and not great service. She did slip and say they had 2 large parties bought Troy’s out THAT DAY. So it wasn’t really Open Table at all…it was greed. Who was going to bring in the most money that night…just bump the small reservation and accommodate the larger group…very disappointing…bah humbug!

We had a reservation and we showed up and our reservation had been canceled because they booked it for 2 private parties! I was very unhappy. The manager tried to accompdate us in another restaurant -but it want the same. They blamed it on Open Table
We hat an amazing private Event - from first contact to leaving the location at the end of the event everything was just brilliant Service.
Thanks!

For only 3 ppl to be in there the food took forever to receive and the drinks are overpriced
Restaurantji Recommends
Unfortunately, the table location was the only good part. The drinks too a long time to arrive and one was wrong, the chicken couldn't be cut with a steak knife and we waited a long time to get a second round of drinks. Very disappointing.
One of the worst service I have ever experienced. Hardly any guests on a Tuesday evening and three bored staff. It took them 25 minutes to serve our group of four only one flat beer, the other three beers took another 15 minutes with multiple rounds of negotiations what they even had available while most of the time staff was just standing around.
I’m a local and love the idea of daily live music, but it was an absolute embarrassment bringing my visitors here and I won’t be coming back anytime soon.

I stopped in for dinner at Troy’s at Texas Live on a Tuesday evening in November, and I was really impressed. The restaurant has a clean, modern setup with plenty of energy — two bars with TVs everywhere for watching sports, a spacious dining area that includes a stage for live music, and an inviting outdoor patio area with multiple big screens so you don’t miss any of the action.
The staff were friendly and welcoming from the start. I grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered Troy Aikman’s own beer, the Elite Eight, which they have on tap — smooth, refreshing, and a great local touch. For dinner, I went with the classic cheeseburger and fries. The fries were seasoned perfectly and had great texture. The burger itself was a standout — juicy, cooked just right, full of flavor, and a good portion size. Honestly, I’d rank it among the better burgers I’ve had anywhere.
With the quality of the food, the service, and the location right across from the home of the Cowboys, Troy’s offers great value at a very reasonable price. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Texas Live or catching a game at AT&T Stadium.
