One of the worst service I have ever experienced. Hardly any guests on a Tuesday evening and three bored staff. It took them 25 minutes to serve our group of four only one flat beer, the other three beers took another 15 minutes with multiple rounds of negotiations what they even had available while most of the time staff was just standing around.

I’m a local and love the idea of daily live music, but it was an absolute embarrassment bringing my visitors here and I won’t be coming back anytime soon.

I stopped in for dinner at Troy’s at Texas Live on a Tuesday evening in November, and I was really impressed. The restaurant has a clean, modern setup with plenty of energy — two bars with TVs everywhere for watching sports, a spacious dining area that includes a stage for live music, and an inviting outdoor patio area with multiple big screens so you don’t miss any of the action.

The staff were friendly and welcoming from the start. I grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered Troy Aikman’s own beer, the Elite Eight, which they have on tap — smooth, refreshing, and a great local touch. For dinner, I went with the classic cheeseburger and fries. The fries were seasoned perfectly and had great texture. The burger itself was a standout — juicy, cooked just right, full of flavor, and a good portion size. Honestly, I’d rank it among the better burgers I’ve had anywhere.

With the quality of the food, the service, and the location right across from the home of the Cowboys, Troy’s offers great value at a very reasonable price. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Texas Live or catching a game at AT&T Stadium.

We tried a few different menus items. All were hot and perfectly cooked. Drinks were soooo good. Love this place!

Went a few weeks ago. Can't remember the name of the band, but they were really good. Two women singing. Burgers were good and prices were better than I thought they would be. How a very bizarre service experience though. Similar to other reviews where I sat so long, that I assumed I went to bar to order, but then so the occasional table service. Then went up to the bar to ask if I pick it up at the bar or they bring it back. He said hang on, then brought the food out, but then the plate was so hot, I just had to stand at the bar waiting for 5 minutes waiting for the plate to cool down to take to my table. Otherwise place is cool if they have good music.

Hostess was nice. Sat us down. Waited FOREVER for a waitress to acknowledge us. FIVE servers standing around near the hostess stand. Still waiting. Table of 8 sits down a few minutes after. Waitress walks over to acknowledge them, takes their drink orders, walks by us and away. We left.

Troy’s has great vibes overall. The Texas Heat Burger and the Turkey Burger were both delicious—definitely worth coming back for. The live band kept the energy fun and lively, which made the atmosphere even better.

The only downside? The drinks. Unfortunately, they were very low quality—wouldn’t recommend them, which is why I can’t give more than 3 stars. If Troy’s can step up the bar game to match the food and entertainment, this place would be a solid 5/5!

Great food. We sat at the bar snd had dinner and drinks. There was no wait but there was a Rangers' game. I had the Texas Heat Burger and my girlfriend had the bacon and caramelized onion burger, both highly recommended. There was a live band there and the atmosphere was wonderful.

Great sports bar with lots of seating inside and out. Great music and vibe. Food was a huge disappointment. My phill was very weak. Very little meat and lots of bread. Tater tots were cold and sent back 3 times. Finally gave up up and ate them cold. The chicken wings were best I've ever had Very convenient next to rangers field. We're definitely going back. Hopefully food is better.

Terrible service. After arriving we sat for 13 mins before someone finally came to take our order. Witnessed several people get up and leave

We were kindly greeted and seated early! All the servers were terrific. The noise level was super loud, but we should have expected it. Overall we had a nice time.
