I go here for Tex-Mex. The salsas are not spicy, except for the one that comes with the shrimp tacos, but I won't complain because I don't go for authentic Mexican food here. The food is well-seasoned, but I did not like the refried beans much, the black beans were way better.

We had a table of 9 for lunch. We waited 1.25 hours to get our food. We order tacos, and fajitas how hard does it take for 1.25 hours to get lunch ready? We all finished within 15 minutes after receiving the food. 1.25 hours wait for lunch? Seriously?

Meghan was our server and was exceptional. She was extremely knowledgeable about the food and drinks. Made our first visit very memorable and we will definitely be coming back. The shrimp bacon wrapped app was amazing and so was the barbacoa.

I AM ENOUGH

Due to recent change in your menu the nachos were not baked so that was disappointing. Everyone good was Luke warm. Service was slow and after asking for our drinks from manager he seemed not truly concerned. The place was almost empty and now I understand why

Food always good but service is often good. Sometimes it takes longer than normal but allows you to spend time with family.

We had a pleasant afternoon. The restaurant was slow at the time because it was right after lunch and we really enjoyed each other’s company. The service was tremendous and the food was excellent.

Came here for our daughter's birthday, it's very beautiful and nice ambiance service was good, the poor review is for the food, first off the chips tasted burned and oily and they didn't look burned , I order enchiladas they were fine but the refried beans tasted very weird , my daughter ordered mesquite chicken combo fajitas I tasted them a little of both they had a overly burned charcoal flavor like the grills weren't cleaned or something ,seems as if they reuse the to fry everything all the fried stuff we ordered had that burned weird flavor like the chips best thing were the Margs. But for what the food was it's extremely overpriced $200 was alot for what we ordered and only 2 marg.never coming back we would have been better off just ordering in from any know restaurant ,would have spent less than 100 but you live and you learn ,sorry but yall should do better

I guess this was the first time we have eaten at UJ’s since the corporate changes. Most of it will be ok to accept. We have one change that will keep us from returning though. We always order yellow queso, and it has always been good. We put it on everything! The new queso does not taste good at all! We were walking out and I noticed a table of 4 adults with a half eaten bowl of queso…. I asked them how they liked it… they quickly responded that it was terrible… they showed me a thumbs down. Please bring the old queso back! We have enjoyed this place for years… but we will have to reconsider our choice of where to get our Mexican food fix.

Hispanic waiter was nice but the bigger lady who seemed to be in charge of the restaurant totally ignored us. We noticed she asked every single table around us about their experience but not once did she round on us. Food was okay but not great. Save your money and go elsewhere

The food and service was fantastic. We had a large group so I talked to them in advance. When we arrived they had everything ready for us.

Their new menu is terrible! My wife and I were craving their bean and cheese nachos and some cheese enchiladas with sour cream — but they no longer offer them. We’ve been loyal customers for years, but unfortunately, we won’t be coming back.
