Christmas is right around the corner and last week, after getting off work, I decided I'd shop in the Hillside Village for a few evening hours; but, I got a little hungry & decided to stop into Wetzel's, for the first time, to grab a sweet & salty pretzel snack. I was getting ready to enter via the front door (along the main parking lot) when I noticed a sign instructing me to go around to the side entry, I did and when I entered the little pretzel shop, I immediately noted a scent of burnt bread. I was NOT greeted when I entered (even with 4 people behind thew counter) and then, had to wait for a female customer (behind the counter) and the female cashier have a discussion before I was helped. I mentioned to a young male employee - prepping to leave - that I was there for the 1st time and he suggested that I try the Cin-a-Bitz as they had some already cooked and ready to go. I agreed, paid about $8 and left. In my car heading home, I noted that my cinnamon pretzel bits were a little tough on the bottom and tasted overcooked, slightly burnt.

some bald-looking monk dude. I think he was the manager. made the cashier lie to my face about the freshness of the food, and when I requested a new one, he said it would be 30 mins. My friend who was in the line after I left said to me he was talking negatively about me and making rude comments.

The first time having Wetzels was so gross watching some dude named Ben cook my food after just handing someone money and messing around the cash register. for a minute didn't even change gloves. Absolutely. Disgusting!!! Went to get a refund after watching that; he argued with me, saying he didn't. lying to my face !! , not wanting to make another one. 1/10

First time having these pretzels. They were very good. Soft, warm and lots of flavor. So much better then than the other pretzel store. I would purchase these more if it wasn't in the mall. Great service too.

Josue is so slow he moves with no purpose , the line is long and hes just taking his sweet time the co workers making the food are hustling and moving fast while hes taking his sweet time .
