Stayed at the Lux with my children this past weekend for a football competition at the AT&T stadium. After returning to the hotel that evening after the games we had an appetite and excited to try the hotel restaurant since they were only open for dinner hours. Upon arrival there were only 2 other patrons aside from staff. Staff were all sitting at tables socializing with each other and we were immediately told not to touch the balloons as they were for an event later that night. Totally understandable and sat far away. Our waitress approached and informed us they only have 3 things on a very large menu--fried crawfish, shrimp and something else. So i asked for a discount due to lack of preparation nor alert to hotel host. Waitress goes up to a woman at a table talking to ask her if this would be ok, to which this incredibly inconvenienced woman aggressively shakes her head no and goes back to the table to continue playing friends with the staff at the table. So when I requested to ask her/ explain we were just tired from a long day of competition she shuts down and says Zuri is not part of hotel and its not her problem that their restaurant doesn't have food. So since she wasn't part of the hotel I suggested clearly a negative review is possible. If the hotel gives excellent service and the restaurant does not. That did not go over well with her so she immediately yelled "B*** you'd better get your a** out of here before I kick you in the face!"....mind you this was in front of my children. After talking to hotel management they graciously gave them a meal for the night from their gift shop and advised that their restaurant staff are notorious for being on drugs and aggressive so they are working to fire that staff. All in all. Would not recommend going unless you are a cop to arrest the ratchet staff here.

The drinks were ok. Margarita was insanely stout lol. Uhhh the food was definitely bar food. Everything came out really slow but they weren't bad. Not bad, not good. Just kinda a 3 star kinda establishment. Nothing special but decent if you wanna go grab a drink and some bar food.

Love the Karaoke Pool parties.. so much Ive been a couple of times this summer.. No drama.. no kiddie mess. Good clean fun and no judgment.. A pool party where people actually get in the pool.. Now, when its a hosted party, I noticed they jacked their prices up a bit.. Not cool.. Also, be leary of contacting the hosts.. Instead, contact the owner for bookings.. The host tried to get us for $1,000 for a cabana, which was crazy.. called the owner, and it was waaaaaaayyy less.. I'm sure the host was pocketing the extra.. So be careful with that.

Went on a Wednesday nit ordered some wings had to send them back twice due to not cooked fully when they came back the last time still the same problem...the bartenders out bye the pool were rude and picking who they wanted to serve ?...only thing I can say that was 10/10 was the hooka girl she was amazing ?? p.s Get ALL NEW BARTENDERS ON THE OUTSIDE !!!

So I didn’t order food just drinks. We went on a Saturday night got there a little early before the evening started (10pm). They had good music going a bar down by the pool, cute cabanas. They also have seating upstairs which I’m sure is where people typically eat at. The pool was nice & clean, they even went and through big floats like the flamingo etc in the pool which I right was dope. I definitely plan to go back with my ladies next time and just vibe during the day with some drinks by the pool
