I normally don't do reviews but I need it to be known that this isn't "Chicago Food". I was born and raised in Chicago and I have never had food this bad there. My husband and I both got Italian Beef, but I got the combo which included Italian sausage. First let's speak on the smell of the food, when I opened the box I could instantly smell something wasn't right. I disregard the smell (big mistake) and decided that it could just be my smell was off. I took one bite and noticed immediately that this was not Italian beef. I opened the sandwich to find three different types of meat (if you want to call it meat), and nothing else on it which I was highly disappointed because the menu said it supposed to have sweet peppers. There was a few pieces of meat on the sandwich that looked like it could have been sliced beef, then on the bottom of that it was this mushy type of meat. Then they placed, what was supposed to be an Italian sausage in the middle of the sandwich. I made up my mind and immediately said I wasn't going to eat the sandwich and I was just going to eat the sausage. When I bit into the sausage I immediately knew it wasn't a real sausage cause the texture and taste was off. I immediately spit it out. I then examined my husband's sandwich which didn't look anything like mine, so I thought it was safe for him to eat. He then ate it and I just settled for the Lay's chips. I few hours later my husband got extremely sick and my stomach didn't feel well also. I'm extremely disappointed because I just moved to Texas and I was expecting food to be alot better that this. Please be careful eating here.

Owner is very nice and the pizza is excellent. You may have to wait a little longer for you order but you can't rush perfection. I would recommend for anyone looking for deep dish pizza or pizza in general. Support local businesses.

I used to come to this restaurant when it was at its original location and it was a good experience. I moved away and came back more than 4 years later and I was excited by the prospect of reconnecting to the food. That they moved the location isn't an issue, but the restaurant's unavailability seems weird to me. You can't go into the place, you have to order to go and your food is brought out to you. I was here last week at 7:15 pm, the restaurant closes at 8 pm. The owner told me OVER THE PHONE AS I STOOD OUTSIDE THE DOOR that he stops taking orders at 7:05 pm. Really? I'm here with money in hand 45 minutes before closing and I can't have an Italian Beef? LOL. So a week later I came back at almost 1 pm, the sign on the door says that for this day of the week, the restaurant opens at 11 am. It's closed. I called the number on the door and no one answered. I don't know what happened to the owner/business while I was out of town, but this just seems sad now. And at the end of the day, I still don't have an Italian beef...?

So disappointed in the food and service wings were not fully cooked as well as pizza. Also the pizza came as if it had been folded or in an accident.

The pizza was really good. Loved the variety of topping options. I'm going to come back and try the Italian sliced beef deep dish. The owner was really excited about his pizza and he was kind too.

We accidentally ordered from the wrong Windy City…..meant to order a pizza “to go” from the Windy City Pizza in Breckenridge Colorado. Even though it was our mistake and we were more than willing to pay for our screw up, Charles (one of the employees) insisted that we not be charged, saying that it was an honest mistake and the right thing to do.

Chicago

It’s hard for me to believe the owner ever lived in Chicago. Pizza not even close to Chicago pizza Very disappointed and too expensive

I don't give many one stars, but this place earns it. I am sitting here writing this review. It's so bad I don't even want to get a refill on my tea. I had to take my pizza back to the counter to ask where the Italian sausage was. It's under the cheese, almost lunch meat thin sausage, and about one slice of black olive per slice of pizza. I guess the sauce was ok, but the lack of seasoning and cheese just made it a crappy pizza. 22 dollars for two drinks and a large two topping pizza. I wish I checked yelp first. Definitely go to cici's instead.

My boyfriend ordered from this place and spent $71.62 ($80 for delivery tip) supposedly a deep dish , he tried a slice and almost vomited, I got home from work and tried a tiny piece and immediately tasted the spoiled tomato sauce !!!! Nothing is wrong with my palate it just tasted horrible! Motor city deep dish frozen pizza from COSTCO WAS WAY BETTER THAN THIS! SMDH!

The gentleman here at Windy City was a lovely and great to talk to! The pizza is as close as I’ve ever had to real Chicago deep dish in almost three years of looking. I would definitely order here again. The price was a bit high but all things being equal I’d spend WAY more shipping it from Chicago and it wouldn’t taste the same in a home oven. Keep up the good work!! And thank you!!!!

When I arrived there was a sign at the door saying they open at 4:30 I was there a little after that and the doors were still locked. Another sign had the number to order through phone or online , I called and no answer. It just doesn't seem like they respect their business hours. After reading some comments I don't think I will give this place a try.
