First time trying and it was legit! Great pizza, service was perfect! Only downfall is the traffic when it was time to leave. Will definitely go again!

Called to place an order and the girl answered like it was her personal phone and had a very poor attitude. Definitely didn’t end up ordering anything based off of the first experience of service. No thanks.

As a proud New Yorker, I do not claim this pizzeria. I was excited to try it and chose to ignore the negative reviews, thinking I’d give it a fair shot myself but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish.

I ordered a half mushroom pizza and the other half with chicken, pineapple, and black olives. The order was completely wrong (see attached photo). They clearly don’t understand what “half and half” means pineapple was spread across the entire pie!

From the moment I walked in, I sensed something was off. Two staff members were working, both looking visibly unhappy. No one greeted me or the customer behind me. As I waited, I saw one of the workers handling chicken with her bare hands, dipping it into sauce. When she noticed me watching, she suddenly switched to using tongs. It felt very unhygienic.

The other employee said nothing to me when I gave my name for pick-up. She silently scanned the pizza, I paid, and left , not a single word exchanged. On top of that, the floor was filthy (see attached photo).

Sadly, I got food poisoning after eating the pizza. The dough was undercooked, the tomato sauce was uneven and tasted like raw paste, and the chicken had a strange plastic-like texture.

This is a disgrace to pizza, especially to anything claiming to be “New York style.” As a New Yorker, I absolutely do not claim this place. I can’t wait to get back to NYC next week and enjoy the real thing.

I forgot the single slices are extra over loaded with too much cheese , you can pull it off the cheese for days and its greasy for that thin crust. I literally balled it up and threw it back in the box. I won't even bother trying to refund it . They probably need every sell they can get.

It was delicious. So I consider myself a bit of a pizza snob. Yes, from NYC, I can say that with confidence. This pizza is legit and consistent. It all started with just a slice to go. In the last 6 months in the area, I've eaten here 7, maybe 9 times. And i have not been disappointed. I've had all my favorites, including the Sicilian. No joke, solid! And I had a few buddies over, and when I said pizza, they weren't enthusiastic. But I said trust me. Not only did we have two large (meat / supreme), but two of my boys went to get a pie for their family.
Just a suggestion. Cut the salami up in the salad. That large round is hard to eat when you have a folded slice in one hand and just a fork in the other.
Oh, if it makes it to the next day. Just as good, best breakfast.

This place is absolutely horrible. Their pizza is not at all “new york style”, it’s disgustingly greasy.
Their service is horrible, extremely rude, and when i tried to get a refund on my disgusting pizza, they had me go to frisco and didn’t solve my problem, and the frisco location sent me back to Aubrey.
This restaurant shouldn’t have this many good reviews..

Food is good but order was wrong and items were missing upon delivery. I called to discuss with staff and was told I ordered wrong. Employee argued with me for 5 minutes before I finally hung up. Will never order again, food isn’t worth the disrespect and risk of a mistake.

I have ordered from Jonny’s Pizza many times in the past couple of years. And I believe that they have THE best New York style pizza in North Texas. I also highly recommend the Chicken Parmesan and the Cheese Raviolis. And I regularly purchase the cheese covered garlic bread, and meatballs.
However, on my last order, the cheese covered garlic bread was delivered with the bread slices “closed”, and not “open-faced”,…and with much less cheese.
And that was disappointing.
Otherwise, this store’s food and portions (so far), are outstanding!

Ordered a large pepperoni, sat and waited for 15-20 mins. Watched them DROP the pizza peel (the wood thing they used to get the pizza out of the oven for those that don't know) on the FLOOR then pick it back up and continue to serve pizza with it. Got a refund and left.
