My husband stopped by Sonic earlier and got ice cream for us to enjoy tonight. We started to eat it and it tasted like straight up soap, it was awful. We didn't realize it until after our son had finished off some of his. Now I'm concerned that we ingested something chemical wise - unknown what it is and what side effects we will have. Super disappointed and worried.

My brother picked up what was supposed to be lunch for us on 8/7/2025 and they told him the fryers are down. They are the only Sonic in Aubrey currently open in my area as the one in Cross Roads is completely shut down now, so our only option. Since the fryers were down, we went with just burritos. They took a long time to get and the egg in them was disgusting, it was not even yellow at all and tasted horrible. There were also hairs in the food as well, which might have been an accident but could have been intentional based on the service he received. We will not be going here anymore, the food made us feel sick.

Food was good as always. Got a double cheeseburger, pickle fries, strawberry shake with oreo bits added and blue Hawaiian/peach slush. All of it was great.

Ordered a large chili cheese fries and basically paid for a large and got a small this Sonic’s going down hill more and more

Good place to stop. REVISED: I stopped by today. Their was an issue using a gift card for payment. Robert, the manager, explained the corporate policy causing the problem, being over 37 cents. I paid in full and tipped the server. Robert, figured out how to solve the issue. Robert and the server were very polite and did an excellent job. I will stop back again for more good food, and check to make sure Robert was taken care of by management.
