I usually order poke bowl and rice bowls. The food layouts look good, but is it necessary to put sooooo much sugar in a rice dish?? I had to stop and drink some water to ease the sickly sweet taste every time. The ingredients are fresh and good, to be fair. I just want it to be a little healthier.
The tornado roll and monkey brains were delicious. However, my hibachi steak and chicken was far from good. The meats were over cooked and dry. The rice was cooked well but flavorless.
Two words: Sushi Burrito. That's why you need to come. This place also and surprisingly has good bulgogi. I get my bowl with all noodles. They don't miss on the food. They stick to what they know. Really nice people. Generous servings. If you want sushi but not into raw meat, then you can order the sushi restaurant staples like shrimp tempura, California, or veggie rolls, or order a deep fried roll.
