I have a pretty high standard for BBQ and unfortunately this place was just mid tier... The young lady who took our order was great! She was super kind and happy to be there from what it seems. They have liquor and beer & drinks were basic coke products.... When it came to the food, The sauce was too sweet and basically eliminated the taste of the food. The potato was MASSIVE and the amount of meat on top was plentiful but the potato was just bland. The turkey was actually really good and juicy. The jalapeno cheddar sausage had a funky taste; I Couldn't pinpoint it, but it had to be the cheese. While I'm sure it wasn't fake or processed cheese, it sure tasted like it. Overall id give Tender a 3/5 stars. While it looks like it could be an awesome place to hang out at, I just don't believe the food is strong enough to keep me coming back. Side note: I loved the aesthetic of this location.

Ok this is my 2nd time eating at tendersmoke house in Aubrey. The first time they left all of our dressings for our potatoes off our order. The manger kindly fixed that issue so we tried them again. Only to be let down once more. This time I’m not going back this potato looks disgusting!!! One potato looks edible and the other…..well you see the pictures below. Ya have to do better

We had heard great things from our cousin about this smokehouse. We had take out and it was one of the driest briskets we've ever had. Not sure if it was a bad batch but we won't be back. The photo is about 15 minutes after ordering.
The sides (pineapple slaw, potato salad and Mac and cheese) were pretty decent and were the only saving grace and our server Mirissa was very friendly as well.

This Tenders is a hit or miss. You can almost tell by who’s working how your visit is going to turn out. Very unlike Tenders other locations. Unfortunately it’s the closest location to my home.
