Ohhh!!! Gretchen- my dear!!! Such a doll and so attentive to our needs. I’m visiting from Chicago and was educated on the delights of lemon blueberry pancakes and chicken fried steak! Delicious!! And the must try “ pecan coffee”. (So sorry I forgot to take pics of our food?) I have to share about the priceless look of shock on Grethcen’s face when she tried to remove my mostly empty poached egg bowl and I nearly stabbed her with my fork! I wasn’t done dipping my biscuit...
Upper Park Café is a hidden gem in Aubrey! The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. Their breakfast menu is fantastic—especially the pancakes and breakfast tacos, which are cooked to perfection. The coffee is also excellent, with just the right strength to kickstart your day. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a leisurely meal, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend if you're in the area!
Definitely not what it used to be!! Watched people who ordered before us walk out because the hadn't gotten their food and we had finished eating. Also the wait staff is not very personable. Our server stood 5 feet away from our table when trying to talk to us in a whisper. Just awkward and uncomfortable. Should have known when there was hardly anyone in there on a Saturday morning. Used to be hard to get into on the weekends.
