New Menu.. photos of specials posted locally, are not from the meal cooked.. people are nice and learning.. only good reviews are kept on local posts, one of mine about complaint on food was taken down by them. instead of addressed. will try food again but never take out until I learn if I like the dish I get.
Stopped for some lunch. Ordered a half-pound hamburger patty. It was NOT a half pound. Unless all the moisture was gone because it was thin and overcooked.

The Lakehouse Cafe (or, "The Cafe", as it was known in past years), has been a staple of the Mims Chapel/Crestwood area for decades. The folks here are like family to us, and there is absolutely no better place to get the BEST catfish you've ever eaten.Renee took on a huge responsibility and legacy when she stepped into the shoes of owner, but she has carried it on perfectly.Thank you guys for always being so amazing!

Friendly staff, reasonable prices, and good food for the price, plus, drinks and desserts are included with most meals...The Owner has made several updates, including a Salad Bar! (There are plans to add an outdoor dining area even, and a weekend Buffet Table...)We are regulars, and plan to continue enjoying this fine establishment!Wheelchair accessibility: They have only 2 Handicapped spaces, but there is only about 10 or so parking spaces in all...

The food is always amazing, just as the fish special was tonight! The friendliest, most courteous waitress and cook always make it a fun, relaxing time everytime we eat here. Everything on the menu is home cooking done to perfection. If you are ever in the area, make sure to stop by and try their wonderful food.
We stopped in for an early dinner on a Friday night. The waitress was very friendly! I ordered the Friday Fish Special and my husband ordered CFS. They were both delicious! They had a steady stream of ‘to go’ orders while we were there. If you are around Lake O’ the Pines - stop in!

These people really make u feel at home here. I recently moved to this area and I've tried few other places but always keep coming back here.food is awsome, they give u way more then the average. The waitress , she from Canada and she is awsome. I now consider her my first friend sence moving here. I love this place!
