A nice little place in Avinger, where not much else is available. The staff were excellent, and the food was very good. Probably more than I could eat, but reasonably priced. Also have a seniors and kids menu.

My husband ordered carryout. He had heard about it the restaurant on Facebook. The the whole catfish came with homemade fries, beans, hushpuppies, and coleslaw. We also got lots of condiments. Everything was good!

Absolutely amazing. Came from oregon for a business trip and caught up with some family. They brought me to this particular catfish restaurant. I'll be coming back in march when I come back to visit!!! Not only was the food good, but the atmosphere was on point Enough where I had to buy a hat to represent back home. Can I give more than five stars?

We were delayed on our trip and arrived 30 mins after closing. The staff were about to leave and we asked if anywhere else in town was open but none were. Long story short they cranked everything up again and served us dinner. Outstanding customer service!! Oh yeah, the food was fantastic!

Who serves hush puppies as an appetizer? That is going to be charged extra - right? Corbetts does and they are terrific! They are like the chips served at a Mexican restaurant and were not extra. At first we thought they brought an order out to the wrong table. This was our first visit and we are foodies and have spent time in a lot of Houston area restaurants and locally. Corbetts blew them out of the water! We had a guest who also agreed this was one of the best restaurants EVER. Food is real and homemade, service was superior and price was good. We will become repeat visitors!
The service was very attentive. The BYOB worked well for my wife and I. The food appetizers and fixings were delicious. The whole catfish and filets are the best I've had in a long while. Hands down better than any chain restaurant and even better than some of the more gourmet places we've eaten at.

Ate lunch at the restaurant today. We were very impressed at the cleanliness of the place. You can appreciate the age of the building and the care that goes into it into it for the owners. The food was amazing. I recommend the chicken fried steak for sure. Don’t forget dessert - bread pudding.
