I've been to this restaurant in the past and enjoyed it. But, today is a different story and was disappointed. I ordered 2 of the grilled catfish plates to go. The fish tasted good but they were skimpy little pieces and not worth $11.99/each. They gave us hushpuppies and fries instead of rice and baked potato. The grilled veggies on the other plate were awful and lacked taste with no seasoning. This place has completely gone downhill. Not sure I will ever be back....
Covid almost killed them when the salad bar wasn't that great but now they are better then ever and prices cheaper then eating at McDonald's and one can get filled just on their fantastic salad bar which includes awesome coleslaw and potato salad and fantastic pinto beans and then could take your entee home (which I had to do)The staff is great and definitely friendly so will make this my to go place
Exceeded expectations. This restaurant should be 5 stars! Food was delicious and service was great, topnotched despite being incredibly busy! Our server was super sweet, friendly, and fast. Also, reasonably priced! I think the low scored reviews were likely customer issues rather than restaurant or food issues. Just sayin'. We'll definitely visit again. David and Kay
