Staff literally argued with me about what I had ordered. My husband is gluten intolerant and only wanted meat on the side not on a bun. When he returned it nicely asking for meat with no bread like what he had ordered. They gave him a hard time to the point I had to step in. I will never go back.

Way over priced. Sliced beef plate was 16.99. All of the meat was cold when it got to our table. The sausage is the same stuff you can buy at Walmart. Brisket was dry and tuff. Definitely will not be going back. Explains why it was dead on a Saturday at 530 in the afternoon.

Well wanted to eat some good fish which is hard to find but they have It here and it was really really good. Enjoyed the service and the food. Way to go guys

I go here for the good all you can eat beef ribs. Not pork ribs. Beef ribs. Great smoke, great flavor. Very good bbq ribs.

I love their bbq but I was really disappointed the last two times I ordered the 5 for 5 bbq sandwiches. The last time there was a tablespoon of meat on each sandwich and the bread was awful, hard and had white spots on them. I thought they were made a week prior. I asked for pickles and onions on the side and did not receive that either not that it mattered I couldn't eat the sandwiches anyway. I will go back for other items on the menu but I will not order that again.

Firstly, Mark Dean's is a great establishment not only in food quality/portions/price, but the staff here are great. To all the others complaining about the service quality/rudeness: You need to adjust your perspective. Mark Dean's isnt a Chili's or a McDonalds. It's a bar with a restaurant attached. Don't bring your kids, know what you want when you order, and don't whine about not getting a smile. Instead, relish in the awesome bbq sauce, hearty portions, great side items, and, well, decent barbecue.

My husband called in our order for pickup. He had the phone on speaker. He asked some questions about what is on the menu but the girl on the phone seemed annoyed. He even said 'thank you' and she impolitely hung up on my husband. He goes through the drive thru to pick up our order and she just looks (stares) at him. She starts to walk away then she just stops and says ( you got somthing to say)? After she returned he asked if she was having a bad day and she just says 'y eah' & walks away. I work with the public and what we experienced was awful.And the food,tasted like the chicken fried steak was fried in catfish batter. And the ribs dry as beef jerky!
They dont give you enough good cuts of meat with bark.

They still have the best ranch dressing around but not too fond of the rest of the menu. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the atmosphere is very authentic for a barbecue joint.
