Am Donutts

We were passing by and thought we'd give it a shot. Located in a quaint 1880 building with high ceilings, the service was very nice. Contrary to some reviews, my chicken fried steak was not tough, nor was it too salty. It was a bit bland, but i like a lot of garlic on mine.. The side salad was big and fresh. The onion rings were a little too greasy. The wife liked her loaded potato and fried shrimp. The tea was good on a hot day. Overall, good, not great. Would I return? Yes.

We decided to stop here for lunch when this restaurant popped up on Google Maps while we were traveling from Fort Worth to Odessa. It's in downtown Baird, Texas just a little off of I-20. East toxins and get to. Was greeted and seated almost immediately by the hostess. Our waitress showed up at the table just a minute later asking about our drinks and dropping off the menus. Went here for dinner with my parents. Waitress was nice. I got cheese sticks, fries, a coke, and a cheddar bacon ranch burger. Cheese sticks were spectacular and huge. Fries were handcut and soggy but seasoned well just needs work on the cooking. Burger was huge couldn't eat it all but delicious.
