this is a great review even though it doesn't make sense to us -- we went in for lunch - we recently moved from Arizona- hubby had a taco plate with red enchilada- I searched for some Chili Verde or Carnitas seems not to exist in Ballinger - so i opted for the special and Chalupas- at least i thought i knew what they were - NO NO - they are Tostadas- what the hell - they were awesome and so welcome !! at check out I mentioned that a Chalupa in Arizona is not a Tostada- she laughed and said go to san antonio- nothing makes sense!!! i just want a restaurant here to make pork chili verde or pork carnitas - hell I will teach!!! but

Stopped into Adelitas in Ballinger, Texas and all I can say is FREAKING YUMMY!!!! This is a small mom and pop but WOW does it pack an AMAZING FLAVOR! It was sooo good we went 2 days in a row! Great portions, great flavors, superb service with a smile and the BEST bang for the buck! Absolutely in love with the place.They do close at 2pm though. (FYI)They have all day breakfast.Will most certainly stop by again many times! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️ #mexicanfood

Best huevos ranchero's I've had will stop by on way to Laredo for Christmas like I always do and I always order the huevos ranchero's try
Only three families in the restaurant, yet nine tables were not cleared. Maybe if the tables were cleared in a timely manner it would reduce the number of flies… the Server is seldom seen.

We stopped here on our way back home to San Antonio from Colorado. You can tell this is a local spot, but we gelt comfortable walking in. The food was great and so was the service. Tacos are huge and stuffed, tortillas tasted great as well! My husband is super picky on his carne guisada and he really like it here. We will definitely be back when traveling through.

Ordered the cheese burger, was well done. I'm mean really well done. Ordered mustard on it, got double mayo. Maybe stick to the Mexican food? Service was good.
