Delightful people, delicious breakfast, beautiful presentation!
The couple that owns it are very friendly people. The service is very good. They have all asorted good food. And very reasonable price. I highly recommend this place .
This is the only place I've actually walked into and actually got treated with respect they really do cater to all your needs and make you feel comfortable/right at home. I've moved since then but will return soon! The Caesar salad is amazing!

Cute cafe in a cute little town. We stopped here on our road trip back from Colorado. They served us breakfast later than usual. They accommodated our needs. Very thankful for their excellent service and hospitality. Definitely a must visit if you are in Ballinger, Tx. Perfect spot for lunch or breakfast.

Great place for some good old-fashioned home cooked meals. Fair price with courteous service. If I'm in that area, I'm eating at Sylvia's!

This place was so charming—the couple who run it were so delightful! The food was also great—after several days of indulging in Texas bbq, our California stomachs were ready for something light and fresh. The strawberry salad with feta and almonds was delicious, and I loved the vinaigrette—it was the homemade version of what that weird red “French dressing” that I hated as a kid was apparently trying to be! So good! The lettuce wraps with chicken salad and bacon were also fantastic, as was the creamy Italian sausage soup. Endless amounts of iced tea rounded everything out, and I was sad we didn’t have time to try the crepes. If I ever find myself in Ballinger, TX again I will definitely be back! Great prices as well!

What a find! This is a wonderful locally owned French restaurant. The food was very flavorful and good and reasonably priced! I got the chicken picatta special and my husband got the spinach salad. And Sylvia the owner came to our table and talked with us!

Stopped in for breakfast on our way north. The owner and his wife were excellent hosts. Crepes in west Texas, who knew? Delicious food.
We have never had a bad meal here. Everything Sylvia makes is freshly made each day. You start off with one of her amazing soups, then on to your entree. They have a special every day. You will find it written on the chalkboard inside the restaurant. They do have a menu full of yummy options as well!Victor & Sylvia are wonderful hosts. We stop here every chance we get when in Ballinger or passing through.

Sweet couple that owns and works at the place. The food was amazing! I got the baked chicken sandwich and the chicken was super juicy. My husband got the special and it was delicious.
