We passed through the town on our way to San Antonio, stumbled across this perfect little shop. We were not disappointed. The building was really cool, the food was perfectly cooked and exactly what i didn't even realize I really wanted! The service was warm and friendly. Highly recommend. If you want the best experience anyway.

The building is beautiful. I ordered the mushroom swiss burger and it was SO GOOD. Their french fries were great as well. I am a sucker for crinkle fries. The food is a great price, and I'm glad we got there before 12 because by the time lunch hour came around, it was PACKED. I recommend the oatmeal raisin cookie as well

Stopped for lunch coming and going on a road trip. Excellent and very generous burgers and sandwiches plus a delicious cookie with each meal. Staff efficient, kind and friendly. We were impressed by the restoration of this historic building.

We were finally able to try this place on our way to Lubbock on a weekday. They aren’t open on the weekends. Well worth the stop. The building is very historic and provides a great atmosphere. Our waitress was extremely nice and helpful. Just like you would expect. The menu is pretty large but she mentioned the 1/2 lb burgers were hand formed and flame grilled. We all opted for that. They were delicious! Nice crust on the burger and seasoned. Definitely will stop again if we drive thru on a weekday.

A very fun place. We stopped up on our way to canyon lake. We enjoyed the small town cafe vibe. My wife got a burger that was very good, and I got a smoked Ham sandwich that had bacon and other veggies on it.

Wonderful food and service. Housed in a former bank originally built in 1905. Definitely ask for specials off the menu. We had lasagna and for dessert hot bread pudding with rum sauce! YUM!!
