Dickey's Barbecue Pit

This is possibly the worst in the Dickeys chain. The 3 meat plates were not fresh and rather skimpy portions. It is a real shame that The Dickey Family allows such a poor operation exists

There's no soap in the men's restroom, there's just an open bottle (the pump has been removed) of touch hand sanitizer. It's not soap, not one sud. How do employees, much less the patrons, wash their hands? Very gross.

Is this place still in business? I received a text 2 days ago saying my online order was on its way and gave the deliverer's phone #, which was no longer in service. Then I received another text saying my order was canceled and to contact the store.The store's phone rings forever, the finally asks for a code. Poor service! I hope they didn't charge my credit card!

I ordered a 3 meat plate through uber uber eats. Once I received my meal, I noticed a foul odor. I opened up my meal and the food was clearly very old. I couldn’t bare to look at it or smell it anymore. The chicken was rubbery, the brisket was stale/hard, and the sausage was purple. This store is clearly breaking food and safety laws. The uber driver got here ahead of schedule so it wasn’t a matter of the food went bad on way here. They clearly gave me old meat and had no remorse…. Strike 3 with this store!

The waiter had a mood and while at it he got my order wrong, and that's not all ! I also found a hair in my damm BBQ sandwich which it also ended up being kinda raw not going to lie but on top of all the weird and awful experience's to say the least.

I was at this establishment recently and witnessed some of the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. We came in around 5 PM—prime dinner time—only to be told that they were out of several menu items, including some of their most basic and popular food. How do you run out of food that early in the evening? That alone was frustrating to watch.

But what happened next was honestly unbelievable. The employee, Matt, started raising their voice, cussing at the customer, and speaking in an incredibly disrespectful tone. When the customer pushed back, the employee threatened to call the cops.

Yes, over a food order.

It was aggressive, completely unprofessional, and deeply uncomfortable to witness. The customer wasn’t being unreasonable—they just wanted to eat. Watching someone be verbally abused and intimidated for asking a simple question was disturbing.

I can’t speak for every experience at this place, but based on what I saw, I would never go back. If this is how they treat people in public, I can’t imagine what goes on behind the scenes. Avoid this place if you expect basic decency and professionalism.

Ordered xl family pack for a gathering this weekend. The brisket was fatty and tough. The picture on the website versus what we actually received was very different. The side containers were barely full. We had 5 people and it barely fed us due to the meat being a terrible cut and the small sides. Just wanted to warn people about our experience.

My meal was warm and delicious . Great service and greeting from the owner, Silver and her staff.
