We usually come here once a month and I am thinking they got a new chef because the food has gone slightly downhill and the soup of the day is always tomato basil now, never anything else☹️ The Wong Tong tacos are not as good as they used to be also

My husband and I love The Barrel. Before we moved out to this area, we had stopped by for a drink before heading back out to look at more homes. The same night, we brought our realtor to The Barrel for dinner. Both times, we were so welcomed. We quickly decided this would be one of establishments for our dining out rotations. We finally settled in enough to revisit and it was even better than the first 2 visits. The smoked old fashioned with light syrup is our favorite. The kids enjoyed their crab cakes and shrimp cocktail. The burgers are fabulous. The bun... Chef's kiss! The first time around, my husband savored the sea bass and I drooled over my Rib Eye. I was hoping to order the Brussels sprouts again but I guess they aren't in season right now. Can't wait to go back!

Unaccommodating towards out of state residents. My husband’s Arizona ID doesn’t expire until 2065 and the bartender in the speakeasy “didn’t feel comfortable” serving us. Lame. Arizona has a unique licensing feature where you do not need to renew your license until you are 65 years old. He needs to educate himself with all IDs out of state if he is going to remain a bartender. Save your time and your money.

Usually have a great experience on Monday nights however last night with our friends waited 45 minutes to get our drinks and then another 30 minutes to get our food even though we ordered our food with our drinks. Yes it was busy however previous busy nights we been there service was awesome. Waitress blamed it on bar back up

My 1st time here they didn’t have no Icea or the Chardonnay wine listed on their wine list The food was ok. My shrimp taco was not that great shrimp was not deveined. Attention to detail is a must when running a restaurant. Staff is very friendly.

Came by The Barrel on a Friday night and enjoyed our dinner. I would recommend you call ahead and make reservations because this place is packed. We ended up at their Spic Easy hidden in the back behind the kitchen and that was a great experience.
Just an FYI the Bone Marrow is no longer on the menu........
