The Bartonville Tavern

I went on a Wednesday night karaoke with Ryan and that made the atmosphere so much more welcoming and entertaining. The food was good, nothing to write home about, I’d say the atmosphere made up for what it lacked. I’d be happy to go back with more nights like that.

It’s a good bar. Love the bartenders. They’re personable and attentive. They’re lowkey some of the friendliest bartenders I’ve come across. I don’t understand the kitchen closing at 9 on weekdays.

You’re a bar with a kitchen. The kitchen should be open when you are. Even if it costs you money. I just wanted to buy some fries, but the kitchen closes at 9 despite the bar being open until 11.

Most restaurants don’t even close until 10. If you want to have a kitchen you might consider, I don’t know, leaving it open… even if most nights it costs you a bit of money. Won’t be returning nearly as frequently knowing the kitchen closes when it does.

Like, as a former cook. Leave one guy back there. Let him fry something up for the hungry drunks.

Isabell was amazing. Took great care of us during the comedy show. Laid back atmosphere. Fried pickles were delish. Great menu! Couldn’t rave enough!! Highly recommend.
