The El toros on Decker Drive is a clown show.Everyone answers the phone orders and then when they forget your order, they play the blame game.

Second visit after several years. Quick stop with family while on trip so we ate a little and refrigerated the rest for supper. Plenty. All good. Cousin and her husband are regulars.

Pretty impressed with the food and the menu choices, manager happened to be in the front of the restaurant talking with us while we were waiting to get our table. Didn't even know he was the manager till afterwards he recommended to my wife the fried avocado, which she tried and found very delicious. They give you quite a lot of food so come hungry we've been there two times a ready second time we took our young adults who really enjoyed it. Great selection of drinks. Sometimes gets crowded but both times we went we didn't have to wait too long for a table. Second time we went the service was a little bit slower than the first time I guess it was due to a busy night and then being a little on the short staff side. But either way we enjoyed ourselves great atmosphere, good food and pretty good customer service.

As usual, we were looking for a place not too far from our hotel, and with gluten free options. The festive atmosphere was apparent from the minute we walked in the door. This appears to be a popular spot for birthday celebrations. We sat in the bar, at a high-top and could see staff entering and leaving the kitchen. The action was non-stop. These people work very had. My chicken nachos were piled with meat. The margarita had tequila flavor but was mostly citrus. Not what we had hoped for after a long day on the road. The soft serve self serve machine by the door is very popular. It was fun watching customers help themselves to that on their way out (and some on the way in!).

The food was pretty good better than your typical chains. Service struggle at times. It was pretty busy, Texas2k crowd. Fish taco were good, my wife did not enjoy her summer special, it was cold.

The food was good not great. The service below average. In a month I will forget what I ordered and in 2 months I will forget I was even here…. Don’t get me wrong, the food was good but nothing here to come back for. It’s just like all the rest, over-rated.

we were looking for some good Mexican food and the reviews were good for this restaurant. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is well maintained, the staff was attentive and excellent. The food was superb. Everything I ate was good. The atmosphere was pleasant and I will definitely dine here again when I visit Baytown again later this year.

The place is large, which is quite surprizing because I grew up knowing about their single, smaller location on Decker Drive. The time was a week after Christmas and they still lots, probably all of their Christmas decorations up. It looked very nice. The atmosphere felt good. The menu was full of Tex-Mex options at fair prices, but we were warned there was a supply shortage of chips. So we avoided ordering nachos and ordered the family platter and combination fajitas for two, but all four of us shared everything. Everything was filling and tasty! There was sufficient fajita meat, in fact we ran out of tortillas before we ran out of meat. The service was frequent and friendly.

Portions are generous and food is always hot and fresh. Fast service and friendly staff. Decker Road location is my preference.

We are from Port Arthur TX and my sweetie took me on a surprise date here. He knows I'm a s***** for Mexican food and margaritas. This is truly a pleasant restaurant and we were very impressed! The food and drinks were amazing... The waiter (Andy) was THE BEST!!!! We have no complaints at all and will be back soon!!! :)

I was in town and wanted a good find. I trust Trip Advisor and began my search. I was impressed that someone from the restaurant responded to most of the reviews. That shows me they care and want to give feedback for each review. Well the chips and salsa were top notch. I had the mixed fajita enchiladas and boy was I impressed. The Texas Shelf margarita was a great call. The service was great. I will be back very soon to enjoy this top notch restaurant.

We had been here a year or so ago and decided to come back after being down at Crystal Beach. This place does not disappoint. The food as always was amazing. I had the 3 enchilada plate with water melon margaritas - everything was fantastic. If you haven't been - you need to go there!

The food was good, portions were small for the prices, but it was enough food, just a bit over priced. I was excited to learn that you could get adult beverages to go, I was disappointed to have mine handed to me in separate plastic soup dishes for the drink and the ice for the drink and taped with painters masking tape in a big zip lock bag.. where my husbands just came in a bottle with a sticker seal. I know that to go drinks have to be sealed, but a kids cup with a sticker sealed lid and no straw would have been sufficient. it was a terrible way to serve a drink assuming I was going somewhere that had a glass to pour it in. I probably wont be back. Masking tape covered soup bowls in a zip lock bag for $10. no thanks.

My biggest disappointment was the lack of seating distance between tables during covid 19. They were not six feet apart. We had arrived early and we thought great people were sitting every other table. But within 20 mins they started seating large group people at every table in the restaurant. Now for the food not the best! Bland. I would not make it a point to stop here when traveling thru Baytown TX again.
