This is one of my favorite places but I see why the parking lot was empty THIS FOOD IS OVER COOKED majority of the topping on the potatoes was stuck to the foil and the rest was hard as hell and the green bean are normally my favorite but these was cold and had no taste. Highly disappointed. Tried to call and voice my concerns but NO ANSWER!

This is an honest review. The fish was pretty good. I love the batter they use on it and the extra crunchiest they throw in the box. They have the best mozzarella sticks and the rolls *chef’s kiss. The cashier was very polite and had great energy (Asia you were awesome). Most people complain about the interior. It is pretty dated. I’ve been eating here for almost 30 years. I would love to see it completely rebuilt. I have been here a few times in the past and the food was meh, but I always give it another chance and am rarely disappointed. I will definitely be back.

The service was great from the young lady working the front counter. Aside from that Captain D's needs a serious makeover. I came around lunch when the entire street block was packed at every restaurant. Now I see why this place wasn't busy. No lie, my salmon and rice was overcooked. The green beans were over cooked and had zero flavor. The breadstick and fries was okay. Honestly the food was terrible, wasted my time and money.
Sometimes the food is overcooked and the people that work there are horrible young kids that don't care about hospitality or anything like that how's traffic going to this place several times thinking things for change but it never does and the one person that I tried to ask for something at the window they shut it in my face and turned her back and walked into the kitchen the shrimp is overcooked and dried out is the same way with the clams and when I asked for some shrimp sauce they charged me for it and I did not put it in the bag I live all the way up to Dayton I didn't have a Captain D's out there I like the beer batter fish but it's kind of crazy to go all the way home and you find out you ain't got what you paid for and a food is bad quality

The cashier seemed a little perturbed that I only ordered a drink and two 2 pieces of fish. I was charged accordingly but when I got home only half of what I paid for was there. I tried calling. No one answered. I tried emailing but Google says it's not a valid email. (I got it from one of the answers to Google reviews) . How do I resolve this!

Love this place, but... Was my first time actually going in to order food. The state of the place needs some fixing and deep cleaning. The ceiling is filthy and has mold. Besides that, their fish is always amazing.

I have been here 3 times since June 2024 and this place has significantly improved. The fish is just like the Long John Silver's fish and was cooked fresh along with great sides The only thing I wish they would do different is batter dip their chicken strips like the fish. The chicken strips are like the pre-battered frozen strips.
