My husband and I have been looking for a taqueria in town because we’re just tired of driving out of Baytown for food and were hopeful of this place. But were yet again disappointed. We had menudo, chicharron, breakfast tacos, tacos de fajita and a taco de chicharron and tacos de carnitas. An horchata, a jugo de mango and pan Dulce.My husband specifically asked for no Pata In the menudo, and either they didn’t care or did it on purpose, but gave us nothing but Pata. The meat looked grey and the menudo itself has a very strong smell as soon as you pooped the lid open. We did not eat it.The chicharron was decent. Very greasy but wasn’t bad.The taco de chicharron had a really weird taste, maybe that it was reheated or the salsa was bad.The breakfast tacos, taco de fajita and taco de carnitas were decent. We were able to stomach those.The green salsa was just spicy, no flavor, no salt, just hot. The red salsa just didn’t have any salt. Very distinct tomato flavor.The horchata and jugo were very good.And the pan Dulce was good as well. But the food, was just okay.Please check either your cooks or prep team and make sure they are prepping meats and salsas as they should be. The smells coming off of some of the food smelled spoiled and could be due to not properly storing.UPDATE: as a response to the owner or whoever handles your social media. It seems like you don’t know how to take constructive criticism and it shows. And this is the problem a lot of businesses have. Instead of taking accountability even after reviewing photos displaying the poor service you offered, you choose to make remarks on bad reviews I have left for past restaurants. I gave you your flowers for your pan dulces and your aguas, even some of your tacos.My husband has worked in the restaurant industry for over 20+ years opening restaurants across the U.S. as well as working over seas running resorts. As someone who frequently looks for not only mom and pop shops but also enjoys dinners at Michelin star restaurants, you should take the advice that was given and apply it to your business. Maybe my husband can show you how to not make your menudo stink if you need a consultant in the future.

I have been highly recommended for the Menudo here and today, 02/24/24, I bought two large Menudo, but they had a very strong smell. I think they didn't wash it well. Apart from the expense, the disappointment, I don't know if it was just the bad smell today. or does it always smell like that

My people wake up before the roosters and have the best tacos in this part of Texas. Gentleman whipping up them tacos starting at 4 am. Reminds me of everyone’s uncle. ? Suzette like Selena sister just much prettier. Always a friendly smile at the register and ready to help customers needs. I been coming almost everyday since my fist day. The pan dulce is also delicious.

I bought a Menudo and a Coke, $16 when I got home %20 of the container was oil and grease. Each piece of belly has more fat than belly and the worst thing is that they fill containers with pure belly and liquid, giving you a pittance.
