I have eaten at Casa Ole since I was a kid, and we keep going back almost 40 years later. My wife (then girl friend) used to go at least every other weekend, if not every weekend back in the 80s. The menu has changed very little and the food is excellent Tex-Mex. It is also very inexpensive. The building is older, and could stand a little updating perhaps -- but it doesn't bother me at all and I kind of hope they leave the layout and esthetics as is.
This place never appeared to be something I would try because of the cosmetics, but today I told myself I’m hungry and I’ll try them out, please note they are a Neighborhood restaurant so supporting them is also meaningful to me as well.
It's ashame they are only open 4pm to 8pm while all the other Mexican food places are open all day. We use to always eat lunch here while passing through the Baytown area but now we have to stop at Iguana Joe's or El Toro. This place was always busy at lunch and now that 99% of everybody is going back to work that is an opportunity this place is missing out on.
