Crawfish Hideaway

First time trying this crawfish joint. We arrived on opening weekend around 430pm and it was a packed house! We chose to sit outside; it was a nice evening despite it being a bit chilly.

Our waitress approached us in a timely manner and remained attentive throughout our time there. Our food also arrived in a timely manner despite the place being packed to capacity.

We had 11 people in our party so we ordered the Family Meal Plan, Crawfish Hookup, Seafood Basket, Gator Bites, And Boudin Eggrolls….Gator bites were uncooked so we had to send them back. The boudin eggrolls were just okay, nothing impressive. I think they should stick to boiled food only…the crawfish were kind of small but that can be expected at this time of year. The crawfish were flavorful however the spicy was more like mild. I wish I would have gotten the extra spicy…all of the boiled seafood was pretty good, the seasoning and remoulade sauce were also a great addition.

Overall it was a good experience. The main complaint was for the fried gator bites and the spicy flavor not really being spicy.

Ordered To-Go tonight and got the “spicy” crab hookup. This was not at all spicy, no flavor and to the point I had to dip it in Tony Chacheres seasoning literally pouring it on everything to get flavor. The corn was soggy and disgusting and potato’s were hard and not cooked thoroughly. Safe to say last time I came I said I wasn’t coming back because it was bad then but decided to try it out tonight some it was convenient and here we are. They offered to give me a crab cluster. I just paid $103 for food that was thrown away. Poor customer service for sure.

Food here was good lil pricy from everywhere else I been. I ordered 7lbs corn potatoes and sausage 2 drinks came out to over 100.00 bucks but it was worth it.

Wish we could have stayed longer, I was my first time trying Crawfish, Gator, and Catfish. I enjoyed it all.

Banana Pudding was OK. Not out of this world, but not bad. Could use lots more bananas.

Crawfish were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Staff was nice and very helpful... I can't believe I haven't tried this place sooner... Don't wait, get there now before the season is up .... FWI: it's BYOB.....right on...😎🤙

Their crawfish was really good.They offer regular or spicy or extra spicy. They were easy to peel. You can't buy alcohol from them. But they have a a little building outside where you can get drinks.

Great place to stop by if you can. If you are dining in just go in and grad a picnic table. Waitress was great and attentive. Just dive in with both hands and enjoy. Is BYOB but do have an option for beer and daiquiris in some yellow shack. Just had a soda.

Great place to get crawfish, no BS just great food. Place is BYOB but if you don't have your own alcohol you can buy some at the daiquiri shack just outside of the building.

I always make sure to get extra remoulade for the shrimp and crawfish!
