Great place

I gave this place one last shot and disappointed yet again. Outrageously overpriced for the amount of food that is given, has to be one of the worst experiences I’ve had.

All hands down , the Toro burger 🤯 💯% Angus beef , WOW again , SERIOUSLY everyone this burger melted in my mouth !! Won't taste anything like anywhere else I promise.... I WILL BE BACK

One of my favorite places to eat and the Margaritas are ALWAYS delicious ! New dish on the menu Carne en su Jugo is delicious! Would like to see Pozole Verde on the menu year round. And for the love of Jessica please bring back Fideo!!

We have eaten here many times over the years and it has always been good. This visit was on New Years Eve 2024. I had the bowl of Tortilla soup and it was very good. I've never gotten a bad meal here and the service on this visit was very good. It is much quieter at this location than the other 2 locations in Baytown so you can actually carry on a conversation with ease.

Pleasantly surprised, extremely clean little restaurant, smells so good and has a nice atmosphere. Food was very good and came out fast.

Always the best! Have loved El Toro for almost 50 years, they are as delicious as ever! And portions are still large.

Old lady that is a waitress there is super rude and disrespectful. We left restaurant because of her attitude and the way she talked mess as she was walking away.

I've never been told that I couldn't sub refried beans for charro beans, and I couldn't even pay an upcharge. I'll drive the extra 10 minutes to go to the Garth Rd location from now on, because the service is unable to think like a human.

Bought two dozen tamales now this not a typical place that sells tamales by the dozen but they accommodated me. The the TAMALES were dry as saltine crackers with too much MASA but I give them an E for EFFORT

This is a shout out to AJ at the corporate office for taking care of me today. Our family has been eating at El Toro for many years. We love their food and service. Today I called about some confusion on points earned with their new rewards system. I just knew I was owed more points. I had a call back from AJ at the corporate office on a Saturday when he wasn't at work just to help me out. Turns out I misunderstood the points due to having earned a reward and the system not showing all the transactions. Not only was he extremely patient and kind and figured out what was going on, he still gave me extra points for my trouble. That is excellent customer service.
