The place always has its open light off. So it's a matter of coming inside to see if they are open or not. The staff, are in slides and regular clothes. At times your never too sure if they work there or not. The sanitation is mediocre. The bathrooms, need attention. However, food is good and fresh upon order. Please, fix these minor concerns.

Must be 1of the worst sandwich place I have everrrrrrr!!!! Went to .as a cook myself.I try not to be critical of places to eat at.this firehouse sub sandwich.should be Burnt To THE GROUND!!!! JUST TO GET THE TASTE OF THE PLACE OUT OF MY MOUTH AND OUT OF THE DIRT. PS.I Hate giving a bad review!!!

I've been going to this location for a number of years. A few months ago I got a sandwich here, and it was so soggy that it feel apart. This had never happened before. I went back again last week (October/2022), and the same thing happened, a soggy sandwich, that also had a "day old" bread taste. They also never have anything to drink in their Freestyle Coke machine, and this time, they didn't have ice in the machine, and they were out of tea. I truly hate to see what's happening here, as I truly loved the sandwiches. It's going downhill unfortunately.

the older guy who’s been there for a longer time and who i assume is the manager was on the phone the entire time i was there leaving the newer guy alone to help 3 different people totaling 6 sandwiches. i asked for no pickles because it always soaks the bread in pickle juice which i can’t stand and they still gave me pickles with both sandwiches making both of them soaked with pickle juice. they barely put any meat on there and it was room temperature at best. i was the first to order out of the 3 of us there and got my food last and it took like 15 minutes after being told it would take like 5 minutes. terrible place for food and it was dirty in there like they haven’t cleaned it in a couple days. just find somewhere else to eat because you’ll only be disappointed with what you get.

I only come here because my wife genuinely loves their sandwiches. The problem is you have to wait 10-20 minutes for one. I have no idea what takes so long to cut bread throw some cold cuts on it and then wrap it but this location is incredibly slow despite four emplpyees being on shift. The price is also fairly expensive for what you get as well.

Italian sub was wet and bread all soggy. Couldn't finish bc it fell apart. The meat was too sweet tasting like it was bad. Tomatoes sliced too thin and onions too thick. Not enough lettuce. Just worst sub ever.

I will never come here again. Took 35 min for them to make two sandwiches. There was no one else there so it's not like it was busy. Employees are so busy standing around talking or hanging in the back. I don't know if I they made it and it was just sitting back there but I got it and it was a soggy mess. The 3 employees there only know one speed and that's very slow.

Wonderful service by a really polite man who works your night shift. He paid for a cop meal. And thanked the cop for his service. Please don’t let go of this young man we will be back see mister Joshua at your Baytown location because of his kind heart and his friendliness

If I could give no stars I would. Lost count of how many violations this place had. Can’t even tell you the employees names cause neither has a name tag on. Asked for a refund neither of them knew how to issue so left without one. Female worker constantly wiping her sweat with gloves on and on her male coworker. Not once in the 30 minutes that I was there did either employee wash their hands. Place needs a good cleaning and their staff educated on proper hand washing as well as maintaining cleanliness. Cross contamination was ridiculous!!

Always good food but very slow. Had the brisket sub and i think there was as much bbq sauce on the outside of the box and the bag as there was on my sub. Change your gloves and don't give customers messy containers.

Whatever FIREHOUSE HAS TO DO DO IT NOW!!The place had no option on chips or drink there was NO ICE this is my second time giving this location a chance and is my LAST everything has to change drastically this is a location that HANDLES FOOD avoid yourself a lawsuit ? could not even prepare my simple sandwich correctly management has to change here THATS FOR SURE

I find it sad that I have to leave this review for a restaurant chain I truly love. This location however, is the WORST chain restaurant I’ve ever been in. I’ve ate at cleaner locations in third world countries. First, the counter person took my order while on their cell phone. Looking across at the bread toaster, there was EASILY 2” of bread crumbs in the front, back, and table. I glanced up and the ceiling tiles around the vents over the food prep area are covered in black dust particles that have to be dropping into the food. I went to get my drink and the drink machine was covered in splashes of probably all 1000 flavor combinations it has. I got ice and opted for tea. The tea containers had no lids, the sweet tea was dripping into a cup below it. The lid/straw/packet holder had fruit flies crawling all over. I sat my drink down disgusted and went to the bathroom. Here’s the true horror show. The bathroom smelled like a 1970’s roadside truck stop in 100 degree heat. The toilet lid was hanging on by one bolt, the commode hadn’t been flushed in awhile. It hadn’t been cleaned in ever probably. I used my feet to touch anything but scared my hands were still contaminated, I decided to wash my hands. The original white sink is now grayish black. This thing hasn’t seen a cleaning in some time. Walking out of the bathroom I glanced at the floors. There was food trash under the tables and the tile hadn’t been mopped in weeks! This was just too much. If the building and literally EVERYTHING in it was soo bad, I wasn’t trusting the food. I cannot believe Firehouse corporate hasn’t shut this place down. Hell, I can’t believe the health department hasn’t shut them down. If anyone such as an owner reads this, please do something. I love Firehouse Subs but this place needs a cleaning and a complete overhaul before you make someone very sick.

Had a lunch day with the family at a Firehouse Subs and it was amazing, from the front counter to eating out awesome subs that were free thanks to our TMobile Tuesday app! This location was clean, the employees were some of the most polite I've come across! All of our samiches we're amazing as well, I hope they keep it up as I'm planning on coming back!

Asked for my refund after waiting more than 30 minutes for the sub, cashier made me swipe my card again after charging me the first time. Never got my refund so it's like I ended up paying twice. Called the manager and couldn't do anything about the situation. Poorly ran place, don't recommend to anyone.
