Hot and sour soup didn't even look like hot and sour soup, way too spicy like they dumped the Louisiana hot sauce in it. Broccoli and Beef were just ok. Nothing to brag about.

I placed a to go order of Jumbo Shrimp Broccoli and Jumbo Shrimp Lo Mein and my family and I were highly disappointed with the small size of shrimp and the bitter taste. Also, the crab cheese puffs were disgusting (it tasted old possibly old grease or refried ) I contacted the restaurant and was yelled at by the male manager for saying the shrimp were not jumbo. We will never be returning. Nasty food and nasty attitude.

PLEASE PLEASE read the reviews. I sure wish I had. Wasted $30. I ordered the lunch kung poa chicken with fried rice & hot/sour soup, lunch sweet and sour chicken with fried rice & egg roll, house lo mein and an extra egg roll. The broccoli in the kung poa and the egg rolls are the only thing even close to good. The kung poa chicken is squeaky? If that's even possible. Both of the fried rice are DRY. The sweet and sour chicken taste like buffalo sauce and all of the chicken is just breading. Everything in the noodles was over cooked. The soup is just sad. One tiny mushroom and bland.

My first time visiting Koi Cafe, and not my last! I had the lunch special cashew chicken. The chicken was perfectly cooked and lightly tossed in delicious brown sauce over a bed of steamed broccoli, my favorite!!!! The flavors all really hit the mark for me. Can't wait to come see yall again!

I think if I had dined in and got fresh food it may have been better. I liked the rice and egg rolls but delivery was an hour, and the food was cold. They replaced my food but to be honest it wasn't much better. I couldn't eat the cheese "puffs" they were hard and mostly void of cheese, the replacements were oily and in fact tasted of old oil plus the ends were too hard to eat. The wonton soup was very bland and the sesame chicken probably would have been good hot but the sauce was goopy, room temp and not really appetizing.

First time we dined in & it was great! Good was good and so was service. Second time did an order to go and we picked it up, they forgot the rice that went with my meal. Third time we did delivery and there was a long black hair in my sesame chicken. Called to advised them, they wanted to remake food but who wants more food from a place that just had nasty hair all in their food. Got a refund for just the sesame chicken but don’t even want to eat any of the other food.

I consider myself a foodie. Chinese is one of my favorites & live in Baytown for about a decade, so when i tell you it’s better out there. The house fried rice a 3/10. I was more upset it was bland & boring. It was just rice, the meat & egg. No chives, green onion, nor bean sprout. Fried rice usually have some type of vegetable in it. China Spice; which was the original establishment had good fried rice. I feel like w/ that small improvement to the recipe it could potentially be a 8/10 dish. Shrimp was a fair size. Chicken flavor could be improved, but it’s fair. After that I went to the fortune cookie & it was stale af. That wasn’t cool. Was up w/ that ??

Like the soggy Chinese chicken dishes you can get from the frozen food aisle and it ends up just being a soggy blob of batter and chicken. There was barely any sauce on the chicken. It's like they used a ladle to pour a tiny bit over each plain fried chicken in a to go box. Also, the sauces tasted exactly the same. The only difference between the two dishes was that the General Tso had green bell peppers in it. The chicken was inedible to us. We only ate the steamed rice and fried rice that came with the dishes. Do NOT order here. It was the worst, soggiest and least flavored Chinese food I have ever tried from delivery.

An absolutely lovely experience! I got the kung pao chicken and it was the JUICIEST chicken I've had to date! The slight bit of numbing spice with that and the double cooked pork belly that slowly built up over the course of the meal kept me going back in for more! If you're close by and haven't eaten here yet, I highly recommend giving it a try, I know I'll be back!

Horrible service. $2.25 for a can of coke!I ordered egg drop soup and egg rolls for appetizer and both were bearly warm. I told waiter to keep it, I didn't want it. I ordered House Spicy Rice Noodle... No spice, noodles were broken in tiny pieces, bearly warm at best. Tiny pieces of chicken, menu says jumbo shrimp... the shrimp was small. Only two pieces of beef and 3 small shrimp. The waiter didn't care about my complaint, he just stood there staring at me. He didn't say anything.No paper in the women's bathroom.I will never eat here again.They can't even spell... that should have been a sign! Ughhh

Okay I hate to give bad reviews...But I just ordered Sweet and Sour chicken and it is so hard that you can't even tell it had meat in it. It is a dark brown ball of Crispy hard grease. Ordered Lo mein and it is stuck together in one hard clump. The Egg Rolls are burnt too!The rice is not good..has a funny taste to it..so does the egg drop soup! I am saving myself food poisoning and just trashing it. Wow, what a disappointment..But the Delivery guy was Very Nice. The 2 Stars is for the delivery Guy.
