I've been to Mambos seafood in Houston, and it was wonderful! This particular one was not good. Seafood boil was cold and old.

I'll never get enough of Mambos rice!! Shrimp, chicken, pork or plain... It's SO good! I love their chviche too. The hard part is choosing what ones you'll have each visit! The service is always great as well. I've yet to meet a waitress that wasn't awesome.

The service and food has declined considerably at this location. I am not sure what happened. The last couple of times I have been there, their service is slow. Even to pay takes a long time for waitresses to complete. The food quality and taste has declined. Today we ordered salmon with veggies. The salmon was dried, overcooked and salty. The veggies portion was so small and it was overcooked. The rice tasted like it was from days mixed with old rice.

I was enjoying my food and looked up and my server Rosario (she had amazing hair seriously how did she get it to look like that) literally pulled a woman from being hit by a car in the parking lot!!! And her hair still looked good! Top notch service around here! Also she used English AND Spanish to give her directions back to the entrance. Beyond expectations!
Rosario was the best server I’ve ever had, her hair was so nice and clean, she was able to accommodate us in both English and Spanish. At one point, I went to go outside to my car and was almost hit by a car and she saved me. I owe Rosario my life she is the best.

There was this girl named Yadi, as my server she was very on time. I never once had to call her over because she made sure I had everything when I needed it. 10/10 would definitely recommend her to anyone going to the Baytown location.

If i could give these people 0 stars i would. Very disappointed with the service, the rice felt like it just came out of the fridge, and to top it off we received styrofoam plates. We had to go inside 3 times to request Karen our waitress who claims she was busy but yet was sitting at the bar chitchatting. I do not recommend to anyone, just go to whataburger.
