We visited Noodle Master tonight as returning customers. We had eaten here when they first opened and really enjoyed it, so after the reopening we were excited to give it another try. Unfortunately, this visit was extremely disappointing. The ramen is not what it used to be. The broth lacked the depth and authentic flavor we remembered, and the marinated egg had almost no flavor at all. It tasted as if it hadn’t been marinated long enough. The fried fish did not taste fresh; while we understand fresh fish may not be available every day, a noticeably fishy taste suggests it shouldn’t have been served. There were also issues with our entrees. We ordered General Tso’s chicken with noodles and sesame chicken with rice, but the rice and noodles were swapped between the dishes. Additionally, the green onion pancake had very little green onion, which took away from the dish. We truly used to love this place, which makes this experience even more disappointing. After tonight’s meal, we likely won’t be returning. We do hope the flavors and recipes are still being adjusted so the restaurant can return to the quality it once had.

Food was good. Black garlic tonkotsu ramen is definitely way better here than the other local place. Staff is friendly and helpful. We have enjoyed the soup dumplings, pork bao, beef fried rice, chicken fried rice, edamame, spicy garlic edamame, kung pao chicke , beef & broccoli, kung pao beef, and others. Dining in also provides you with easy access to the spicy chili oil, fish sauce, and sriracha.

Ordered food yesterday for pick up it took over 35 minutes to have food ready even though they said 15 minutes on the phone. Went in to pick food up it wasn’t ready yet, fine, but when a table comes in after me orders and gets their food before me that’s ridiculous. Then I asked if I can I get a discount they said no we just gave you extra food! It would’ve been cheaper to have given a 5 dollar discount than give me extra food I didn’t need.

The general tso plate was great with the fried rice. Don't recommend trying the ramen it was absolutely disgusting and smelled horrible to. The atmosphere was great but service is definitely mediocre.

Disappointed yet again. I was an enjoyer of Noddle Master since their opening in Baytown. Recently there was a store closure due to “maintenance” but after the reopening the food has not tasted the same. I have retried a few dishes and they all taste like a memory of what their flavor used to be. After speaking to an inside informant it seems one of their cooks was let go. I believe he was the reason to the flavor profiles and his absence is noticed. Sad to see this place going downhill. I will cherish the memories.
Edit 12/15/25 - Ordered again after 2 months. I am pleased to say that improvements have been made. Food quality is back to what I remember.
The food here was not good. The kung pao chicken had zero flavor and the noodles were also flavorless. I’m surprised this place has good reviews. It was so bad we barely touched our plates. The bill was $50+. You’re better off trying to cook something at home or going to panda express. Trust.

I love noodles in general, but this unfortunately wasn’t my favorite. In fact, my worst noodle experience in my memory.
The noodles were dull, did not absorb the broth, and disappointing to say the least. Broth was ok. Probably the best star of the show. Extra spice just meant jarred chili oil in your broth. An unexpected additional disappointment, broccoli in the ramen.
