Had Christmas reservations for 3pm. We left at 4:40 without eating. The table next to us had reservations at 2:45. They got their food which was cold as we were leaving.
Online and to go orders got the priority over those inside the restaurant.
We are now eating a sandwich from Buc-ee’s instead of a steak dinner.

Had a reservation and was seated within 10 minutes but wait time for food after ordering was 1 1/2 hours. The food was okay—-nothing to clap about. Just graceful, they were open on Christmas Day as I didn't cook or grocery shop prior. Thankful to those that worked to serve the public and not able to be home with their families.

This is the first time that we had a terrible experience at this place. First of all we were there for two hours waiting for our food. When we got it my Mother's steak was raw and that's not the way that she ordered it. And my chicken fried steak was cold so I don't know what they did to get our order all wrong but they were not really concerned or apologetic at all. Not going back any time soon.

We eat out a lot and tonight we had two options tonight, Cheddars or Saltgrass. I chose Saltgrass because the food and service are normally excellent. Unfortunately, tonight we experienced the worse service we have had. Our server took a extremely long time to greet us so they sent us a different server. We ordered our food with our drinks because of the long wait, we had decided to share a meal since we weren't too hungry. Our actual server brings our salads and drinks then asks if we ordered our food. We tell him yes and goes in to tell us he would have to check because he didn't see our order entered. We shared a 20 oz steak meal because we weren't too hungry and we think that is why our service was so terrible. Our salads came light, we never got our complimentary bread, tge server took my salad plate before I was even done, my husband asked for steak sauce it was never brought out, our drinks were never refilled. I am a former server so we always give a very generous tip do even though our bill wild have been lucky since we were sharing, my husband wouldn't have had any problem tipping at minimum $20 (34% tip) because we support servers that much. I wanted to tell the server that he missed out on a really good to but I figured he wouldn't care because he probably makes good tips, I even though about saying something but the service was already really shifty I can just image how I would have been treated if I complained. I really hope they see this and do better because we're fortunate enough to afford a dinner like that but we used to be the ones that saved up for a nice dinner like that and I feel bad if people are being given bad service because of that.

Miranda H was awesome today. She was cordial and attentive. Our order came out perfect. She replenished our drinks and bread regularly. I highly recommend that if you want good food and great service have lunch at Saltgrass and ask for Miranda H!
