Stopped in specifically for today’s special chicken fried chicken - which I love from here - but decided to go with something new on the menu- a sirloin steak, 2 sides and a salad for $15.99 and it was absolutely superb! Cooked to medium perfection- no sauce needed. Had a great time with family and friends. Oh and if you go by don’t forget to pay it forward.

Very friendly and attentive service. They have daily specials, and we had the chicken fried steak with country gravy, fried green tomatoes, mashed potatoes, and fried okra. It was worth the wait for the home-cooked meal! Also had fresh coffee and sweet tea. Their philosophy, like their name, is to pay what you can, or pay extra to bless someone who is unable to pay so that they can still bring their family out to share a meal. I recommend them highly!

By offering this quality of food, skimping on nothing, they are able to help feed those who aren't able to feed themselves. This place is such a gem in Baytown. Nicole and Teresa make you feel right at home with their variety of home cooked meals. The ambiance is fun with the great interaction between hosts and guests. The chicken fried steak is fantastic (Wednesday Special) and the Green tomato fried BLT is delicious. Be sure to not miss the banana pudding. If you are ever in Baytown come and enjoy this hidden treasure.
