I would give a zero if I could.I had family from out of town who wanted Cajun food. We found this place. Everyone was disappointed. The chicken and sausage gumbo tasted like it was from the can with seasonings added. It was very watery and bland. The dirty rice was okay. This place was nothing to brag about for my family. We will not go there again.They did offer to refund our money, but we decided not to go back.

Ive passed this wonderful little gem many times since moving to Baytown, and have never had the chance to stop in until today. (Make sure to check the hours of operation. ) Cajun food has my heart and this place did not disappoint. I ordered the seafood gumbo and boudain eggrolls.... now there's lots of people who claim to know how to make gumbo...but this was the real deal. Taste like my pops, homemade and full of flavor. Nice helping of shrimp,crawfish and some crab. The boudain egg rolls were fresh and so good! If anyone is looking for some good food, highly recommend trying this place out. I know I'll definitely be back!

I went to school in Nawlins, and I know real Cajun food. This is It!!! The gumbo, the boudin balls and egg rolls, the BOUDIN made me think I was in Scott, LA. My mouth can't wait to go back.

I ordered gumbo and a smoked boudain link. The rice was hard! It came in a separate container from the gumbo so I was still good until I opened the gumbo. It was old gumbo. The vegetables (bell peppers & onions) did not look fresh. It was an old stew they added new meat to. The boudain was old and reheated so much that the skin peeled off like paper. The rice inside it was brown and hard. I threw the whole order away. $17.56 gone and no lunch.

I’m from Mississippi and every time I visit Baytown(often) I order from these guys! Even if I have to use delivery services. The food is delicious with a real Cajun home cooked taste. I can’t believe this place is still a quiet little secret! The lines should be wrapped around the building!!!My favorite is Everything!!! ?

Best of the best out their little hole in the wall shack and they always have daily specials portions for about 2-3 ppl you will always get your money worth they are known for their boudain and boy do I tell you it is mouth watering!!

The food here is INCREDIBLE!!! I’ve not had anything that wasn’t OUTSTANDING! But I have to warn you… don’t plan on doing anything after lunch because the amount of food you get is going to make you want a nap afterwards. And the people that work here are AWESOME… They treat you like family. It’s obvious they are proud about what they are doing, and rightfully so. I cannot say enough to accurately describe the depth in flavors of the food offered here. You have to try it. I guarantee you’ll be back for more if you do! JAM UP!
