Great to get a snow cone! The ice is very thin and melts in your mouth. The flavor of the syrup used was on point. The price was very reasonable. The only thing was some how there was a small leak on the side of my cup. Luckily I was able to get another cup to avoid a mess.
My grandmother lives in George West and I live in Houston. On a ride back to Houston about two weeks ago, I wanted a mangonada so I googled it. A smoothie spot came up. I stopped in but they didn’t have what I wanted but one of the patrons there told me about Rick’s down the road. I googled it and found it. I love this place, best snow cones in town. So they usually have fine shaved ice but last time I went this happened. At the top of the cup had shaved ice and then from the rim of the cup to the bottom of the cup had flaky shaved ice. I'm very disappointed.
