This place has a very friendly staff. The chips and salsa are good. Salsa tasted fresh. Service was quick greeted with in minutes of sitting and offered tortilla soup was was very enjoyable.
I had the Carne guisada taco the Vallarta taco and Cazadorez plate.
Guisada was rich flavorful with just a kiss of spice, the meat was tender and the flour was I believe house made. Also these were large tacos. For a lighter appetite one could be a meal.
The Vallarta taco was large as well stuffed with tender beef , refried beans, fries and pico I think. I sorry in are faster than reviewing.
The Cazadorez plate was tender beef and sausage, charro beans rice and guacamole salad. Meat was well seasoned mixed with grilled onions, charro beans had amazing flavor rich broth and I believe chichirron and possibly beef, the rice was firm and delicious. I did ask for the house made corn maza tortillas and lord help me they made my day. Do not pass on the house made corn tortillas it's like a hug from Grandma.

Don't get to go here as often since I moved. But the breakfast tacos and sweet tea I had a week ago is just as good as years ago.
Placed my order at 130 got there at 145 order still wasn't ready no one greeted me stood there for five minutes still waited left with out nothing

I travel from Houston to beeville about once a month and I haven’t had any decent food or service Until today !!!!! That we decided to try out this place ..everything was great from food ,drinks , michelada and especially the friendly waitress that took very good care of us today “thank you” !!! And we will definitely make this place one of our favorites now !!!! ( homemade flour and corn tortillas) and great margaritas !!!
