Went there because I was craving BBQ. Parked in back next to screened pit area. Avoiding area they had coned off. Kid came out and told me I can't park there, no explanation why, and he really couldn't direct me with a good answer to where I could park. It was the way he told me I can't park there. I left and went somewhere else to eat. I will not go back. Wasn't friendly the moment I stepped out of my car.

I can enjoy a good BBQ plate as good as anyone but this place has ways to go. The reheated brisket, the grilled sausage and dried up ribs was nothing to desire, but everyplace deserves a second chance.Maybe next year.

Given Beeville’s limited BBQ options, too bad we found The Bomb was a dud.Small restaurant. Service was adequate if maybe a bit slow given only 2 tables, but friendly anyway.Brisket was moist but just bland, no seasoning or smoke of note. Sausage may have been Eckrich(?), but basically nondescript. Beans average, begged for salt. Cole slaw missed. If it matters to you, BBQ pricing not on menu, but burgers etc are listed. The Bomb was off-target, average at best, so much better available in Texas.

Got small chicken fried steak, which was completely adequate, large must be huge. Mashed potatoes fine, green beans nicely flavored. Fast friendly service. Food came quickly.

We have been to this place a few times. A small restaurant that use to be a bank? The food is good and consistent with portions worth the money you pay. Service was very friendly and good, just wished they would have come around to refill our tea and water.

Parking: It is difficult to find a place to park. We ended up parking behind the bbq pit area and walked to the front.

We ordered fatty brisket. It was a solid 6 out of 10 on flavor but is the VERY MOST EXPENSIVE brisket I've ever encountered at a bbq restaurant. $26/lb. The Mac n cheese was bland and disgusting and the bbq sauce was sitting out on the table in a goopey greasy bottle. The bread served with our meal was stale and semi-crunchy. There is hardly any parking availble too.

Decent little dive. Brisket ain't cheap in general and this place gets $25+/lb for it. It was cooked properly, but a little bland.
