Atmosphere and service are top-notch. As far as the food it reminds you of a classic diner fuel. There’s something lacking with the breakfast sandwich as it’s just plain white toast it would be better. Serve with a white biscuit or even a different type of bread. Also would put it over the top with freshly squeezed orange juice. The French toast have good flavor but do not look the most appetizing.

A hidden gem in the concrete jungle that is Houston. We decided to eat here on our way out of town and stopped by for a quick bite.
The food is delicious, servings are hearty, and the atmosphere gives that old school vibe that most diner/breakfast joints lack nowadays.
A good place to enjoy a book with the rain, sip your coffee, and chow down on a waffle or pancake.
(Did I mention the pancakes are really fluffy by the way?)
Definitely a recommendation that won't strike out in Astro territory.

Went on Father’s Day in the early morning to study and it was empty. My friend and I ordered food, were studying on our laptops and the freaking OWNER told us we had to leave because they “weren’t a Starbucks” and said we needed to leave. He said I had been there since 715am and I walked in the door at exactly 753am. He kicked us out at 910am even though we had ordered drinks AND food. There were several tables open so we weren’t slowing down business by any means. Unacceptable behavior and won’t be patronizing this establishment again. I encourage everyone to avoid. Also, it’s sad when the servers at Dennys make you feel incredibly welcome whereas the owner at this coffee shop literally tells you to leave.
