Great and tasty barbecue place. There Texas Barbecue special is great value for the money. Better hurry though: the owners are retiring and the last day is June 6th of 2022.

Got the brisket sandwich; great portion size of brisket, try the sweet bbq sauce to go on it! Would definitely go back! Not paying for ambience there though, needs a remodel.

We went for lunch today and had brisket, sausage, and baked potatoes. Every bite was delicious. I really liked the BBQ sauce too. Will definitely return.

It was the leanest brisket I've ever had. Not an ounce of fat on it. When I go to Pappas I have to throw a good portion of the "meat" away because it's fat, here nothing was wasted, my son & myself were able to eat every ounce we purchased. Great service as well.

Not my speed it's a very healthy unseasoned bbq didn't know that could happen but it's clean very nice services prices ok great for old ppl or if your on a diet

Good food and good service. My 13 year old loves this place. The St. Louis Ribs are a good flavor and great tasting. We have had the sausage poboy, smoked turkey, brisket, and the ribs. We have yet to be disappointed with the food yet.

Their brisket is soooo delicious!! If you go on wednesdays they have a brisket chef salad on special and it's so good! I can never eat it all! Gotta take half home!

Man, I’m not one to write a review but I will today. First, take the potato salad off the menu… Why is it mashed? Potato salad is supposed to be chunky not mashed. The mac nd cheese was cheesy water. MY CHICKEN WAS UNCOOKED, PINK AND BLEEDING IN THE MIDDLE. The ribs and brisket was no where near seasoned, smoked or grilled. The bbq sauce needs to be thrown out on Bissonet for rain to wash away. It was no flavor and honestly tasted like a gravy. Along with papas Texas has been very disappointing with their “bbq”. Im sorry but this was a 0/10 experience, I threw my plate away.

Food was 1 star but the staff seemed really nice n polite so I'll tack a second star on there. I'm in Texas visiting so I figured I had an opportunity to finally have authentic Texas BBq. This place does not represent that at all. Might as well have been Alaskan bbq. Turkey was nursing home/soup kitchen dry slices. Chicken was rotisserie, not smoked or grilled at all. Brisket slices tasted brittle and dry like it was previously frozen. I can assure you none of the meat on my sampler was ever on any form of a bbq grill. The sides were mild and flavorless. Like catered food when most of the guests are elderly. Just blah. Bbq sauce literally tasted like nothing. No tang, zero zest, spice, NOTHING. Such a disappointment. I was just very sad.

Was open when everyone else closed ahead of the storm and had good bar-b-q for a reasonable price. Appreciated the friendly helpful staff and that they answered there phones.

Burger tasted more like a meat loaf. Should have tried the barbecue instead.
