Fantastic truly local barbecue place. Brisket is amazing. All the sides I tried were delicious - when I don’t feel like meat this would be the perfect vegetable plate. Peach cobbler is to die for. I was there at 2pm so the lunch crowd was starting to thin out. If you are local it would be a good go to for catering also.

Charlie's BBQ is hands-down our go-to spot for the best BBQ in town! Their fried okra is incredible—crispy, flavorful, and simply the best around. And don’t get me started on their BBQ sauce; it’s the perfect balance of smoky and sweet and takes their meats to another level. We recently ordered delivery, and even though a couple of items were missing, the team at Charlie's went above and beyond to make it right. They not only personally delivered the missing items to us but also added some sweet treats to make up for the trouble. Talk about exceptional customer service! It’s rare to find a place with both fantastic food and such thoughtful service. Highly recommend Charlie's BBQ for anyone looking for a quality meal and a great experience!

A little bit hidden but nice BBQ restaurant. Plenty of options to choose from and very good meat and sausage. BBQ sauce was also very good.
Very good value for the price.

If you like fried okra, this is the place.....but go someplace else if you like good barbecue.
Not sure who writes these reviews but the barbecue is just not that good. Little, if any smoke flavor and slightly overcooked (imho).
Service is great; Staff is friendly; but the meat itself is just okay...
They were pretty busy so maybe I just caught them on a bad day?

The food wasn’t good and all. If I wanted cheap deli turkey with bbq sauce, I could have made that at home. The peach tea was not sweetened. I wish it was labeled as unsweetened. It was library quiet with absolutely no entertainment. And then we look up and discover moldy vents. Absolute turn off!

Cafeteria style (take a tray, order over the counter, register at the end. Very friendly staff, they'll answer all your questions. Kid friendly, plenty of table seating (no booths), taxidermy on all the walls. Brisket was great, ribs were a bit off, mac 'n cheese is creamy and white cheese (not cheddar, so daughter didn't eat much).

This is a family owned, BarBq restaurant that has the best Angus hamburgers! Their BARBQ is great as well. They offer a number of sides besides the regular potato salads and bbq beans. My favorite is their green beans, charro beans, mexican corn and mac and cheese. The burgers are the best and they offer fresh jalapenos instead of the pickled kind. Leave room for their home made desserts.
Restaurant is set up cafeteria style so you can see what you are selecting. Decor is Texas style with owner dear mounts everywhere

Overall, the food was good. I have been there before and tried other sides. I guess my favorite here is the coleslaw. They offer an excellent fresh display of fixings for your BBQ plate, pickles, onions, and carrots!
For some reason, we sat in the 6 when they opened a door storage like there was a strong smell of cigarette smoking. It's weird since Houston has a smoking ban.

Had the sliced angus brisket sandwiches on a bun . Delicious flavors with or without the sauce and condiments. Will definitely have to make a return visit during dinner hours to try some sides. Got to meet Stathy Demeris and learned a little of the history of the business.
Excellent lunch ?

*Disappointing Meal
Ordered brisket and chicken tenders for kids. The brisket 1/5 is bland didn't even smell like a brisket, and the chicken tenders were terrible ? Concerned about food safety now I am afraid we might get sick from it.
