Really good NY style pizza. It's not gonna travel well, but if you eat there...very good.

Over a decade ago, I loved eating at the other Luigi location. Great pizza and bocci ball. This Bellaire location was so disappointing. Upon walking in, I was hit with the smell of burned crust. The guy at the counter said there is at least a 40 min wait and when I said we will wait, he seemed surprised. We got a seat at the back table but my daughter complained about the bugs so we moved up to another table. The fruitflies were everywhere, it was so disgusting wondering what the food in the kitchen looked like without someone constantly shooing them away. The mozzarella sticks were good but the pizza was not. I had the margarita pizza slice, my child had pepperoni and they both had a cardboard taste. My husband got supreme and his was OK. We quickly ate and left the bugs behind!

-RANT- I have been wanting to try this pizza shop since they took over the previous pizza establishment a little while ago, and I was excited to finally walk in and order a pizza the other day. Though once I opened the door I should have known what kind of pie I was about be stuck with. This place has been around for more than few months but they still look like they've just unpacked, the tables are set up fairly crowded, no stools at the bar dining area, they have a nice TV but they've 'conveniently' set it up so it can really only be viewed by those in the kitchen prep area. I can look past this to be honest but once I started looking at the menu the woman taking my order was overbearing and just wanted to take my order and usher me on, she even started writing down toppings I had not decided on and i had to correct her more than once. When I finally DID decide what I wanted (Lg. Italian Sausage and grilled onions) I got my soda and sat down. They get right to work tossing the dough and putting on the topping and tossing it in the oven. Not long after that I smell the distinct acrid odor of dough burning but I thought nothing of it because surely they would inform me if my order had been messed up and it would take a little while longer to get my food, this was not the case, instead I hear from behind the counter that the chef and woman who took my order are eating my burnt pie and exclaiming about how good it was. Its now 20+ minutes since I came in and ordered and still no pie, keep in mind I'm the only person in the establishment who has placed an order so it should be in and out in no time. When I finally get my new 'not burned' pizza it was just that, 'not burned', so 'not burned' that it was under done. By the end of the first slice i was having to choke it down. The crust looked awesome but that was about it, the cheese was piled on way too thick, and as a result was hard and gummy and not melted, the tomato sauce was tangy and bland, though the toppings were decent. I went to the counter to get a large to go box and the same woman gives me a scowl and cranes over to see what i haven't eaten and trudges off to get a box. She asked if it wasnt good and I told her why, but she didn't seem to care. I left and took my meager excuse for a pizza home and after doctoring it up with some simple herbs and cooking it once over to a delicious golden brown in my oven it was actually pretty good! But I am NOT coming back to this place, even if they get their act together. This was not a comforting pizza experience at all...

I stopped by this pizza place after finding it on Google Maps, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly, service was quick, and the pizza was freshly made on the spot. I ordered pepperoni and asked for smaller slices ..which was a good call since the portions were still generous. The crust had a light, crisp texture similar to thin crust, even though I didn’t request it, and I really enjoyed that balance. While waiting, I played one of their free arcade games, which made the short wait even better. Excellent food, atmosphere, and value. Definitely one of Houston’s standout pizza spots.

I always do build your own. Great topping selection with unique possible combinations. Tx jalepeno sausage is surprisingly great as a topping. The only pizza i can eat that is easy to digest. I have since stopped eating at any of the pizza chains. They do mess up your order at times so always check it if you pick up.

1st time here and we were not disappointed. Ordered a large meat pizza well done and it was delicious. Crispy, not greasy and the taste was very homemade(in the best way). The Chicken Alfredo portion was giant and so flavorful. Loved the cozy atmosphere and staff were genuinely welcoming.

Definitely one of my favorite pizza spots! Everything I had was delicious. My fave is the calzones! So much meat, cheese and sauce. The pizza is great as well. Save room for the gelato! I also enjoy the classic movie posters and arcade games.

My husband picked up our pizza, we get the margarita with bufalo cheese. Consistently delicious. Staff is helpful and pleasant! The side salads are simple but always fresh and crunchy , never a wilted lettuce leaf buried in there. And per my photo, to all pizzerias, THIS is how you make a proper pizza crust, bubbles, crispy with a touch of char, delicious!! This is why we keep ordering here.

This is what pizza shops used to be and should be. Simple, throwback, and really good pizza. Customer service was great and the crew was super nice. Thanks for keeping pizza rad.
