I had high hopes for this place because my SO really likes it. I had a slice of cheese. The edge crust was crispy, but the rest of the slice was very floppy and kind of soggy, and I ate it immediately in the parking lot. It was way too thin. The taste was good, but I wasn’t a fan of the texture. However, It was a huge slice for $5.40. Overall, I would not recommend if you’re looking for a New York Style slice. Try Romano’s on W. Grey. It’s a lot better.

Pizza is delicious and I liked the small feel of the place. Service was on spot. Am anxious to try some of the other items

Fantastic place for pizza, sandwiches, salads and more.Casual atmosphere, friendly service. I had the Luigi's Philly, a massive sub stuffed with tender, juicy beef and tons of cheese (your choice, I did mozarella). I also had a slice of Margherita pizza and one of The Meats. Super thin crust, crispy perfection with generous toppings. Amazing place. I'm hooked.Vegetarian options: Vegetarians who eat dairy and egg will find good options. They do offer "vegan cheese." (Is that made with milk from vegans?)Parking: Off-street parking right in front.

I have always been a fan of Luigi's since I first ate there fairly regularly at the Downtown location a decade ago. I had only been to this location once in either 2018 or 2019 n still a big fan. I had almost forgotten about it bc it's so hidden off and never saw it once since then until someone I knew mentioned it recently. It all came back to me and I knew I had to pay a visit. I ordered a slice of Margherita Pizza, slice of Mushroom Pizza both dine-in and a takeout of Lasagna for myself too earlier. Everything was awesome, very well-made, really moist and very delicious. Everything I ordered reminded me of food from a great spot in NYC this past summer. The pizzas both had great oven/coal-fire crusts. The cheese and sauce were good quality and were about equal in amount to the other. The sauce was more runny and tangy, while the cheese was oily to an acceptable degree. The margherita pizza was one of the best I have had down here with a solid, very tasty profile of tomatoes, olive oil, basil and acidity. The mushrooms pizza was cheesy, earthy, tangy and very tasty like the other in its own way. I was lucky to get the lasagna since it ran out the last two of three times I tried to get it in the past at another location. The lasagna was very tasty with a rich, creamy, savory and sour profile to it. The sauce was a tomato cream and very good with supple ground beef and soft layers of pasta. It wasn't too salty or too sweet. Great, friendly service from the lady that took my order and what an exciting NFCC game to enjoy the meal with. It had been too long since eating here and will be back again.

Chicken salad is bomb, ask them to add the green and black olives. Thank me later!

This is not what I meant when I said extra crispy. I picked up an online order 1 minute before it was due. The calzone was ready when I walked in. I noticed something was off with the bag but left. When I got to work, not only did I notice the burnt calzone, it was also packaged in styrofoam. That added to the calzone being burnt AND soggy.

Well, after ordering in and picking up at this location since it opened, they seriously dropped the ball. When you call in an order, they have access to your number on the call. We ordered on line this time, paid by cc, picked up, paid a cash tip and were visited by the Bellaire police 30 minutes later. Luigis had called the police to report a theft of services. They had our number the whole time and never called. While the nice officer stood there, we were able to find the cc card charge online and she consented to return to the restaurant and confirm the payment. The manager was wholly unable to communicate a resolution to the problem and we resorted to calling a different Luigis to try to speak with a GM. A neighborhood restaurant who depends on the goodwill and commerce of the locals calla the police for a $25 credit card question?

Crust needs improvement, but overall great service! I ordered a pineapple anchovie pizza with extra sauce which tasted great but the crust was too thin and flimsy.

The price is good, the facilities are a bit small, and the food is so-so. The people are friendly and they seemed to like the job but the calzone was really underwhelming and inconsistently cooked. Parts were scalding hot and others were cool. The meats were squishy in a bad way- like maybe too much fat or oil. The gelato was good. They do offer dine in but I don't think this is what they want from a business model as it is small inside and they don't wait on you at the table. Maybe the pizza would be better but the calzone was not worth a return for it.

Wouldn’t deliver pizza 1.5 miles down road when both our cars were flooded because of Hurricane Harvey. Old review is missing so I’m adding this one back. Was one of worst times of my life and all we wanted was some warm food.
