I had been hyped up about this place and I think I just had my expectations too high. The bagels were good, but the food was just okay for me. Not a bad place for something casual though.

Came in early to get a dozen bagels as a treat for my team. Got a variety of Everything and Valentine swirl- normally their Rainbow bagels- plus two tubs of cream cheese to go with doz. Good parking and great helpful service! Love that bagels are Everything coated all around- bottom and top!

Great place with great staff. Huge menu with breakfast, lunch, and dinner choices. Great for brunch too!

Christmas day probably wasn't the best day to be the first time to visit but we did anyway and it was a packed house! We didn't have a reservation and was told we'd be waiting about an hour. We were flexible and patient so decided to wait. We made the right decision. After 20 minutes or so we had a table and warm coffee. The menu has lots of variety and selections. The prices are very reasonable too. My honey got the meatball sub and subway fries and I got the yellow cab (eggs, toast, home style potatoes and added sausage). We enjoyed every bite. The staff was very nice and frequently checked on us. My honey and I decided that we will make this a Christmas tradition, with a reservation next time. But we won't wait that long to return. Yummy!

The food here is Top Quality, no matter if you order breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Matt is by far and away an amazing server. When you come here, ask for him for service above and beyond. And tip appropriately. You don't want everyone to think you're trash, do you?

Having been here it was fun to experience and not my usual go to meal. I think I can safely say the food is ok to good. I don't think anything stood out to me that makes me yearn to come back. What killed the experience for me was the wait time after ordering. Something went down with the kitchen staff and our meals were delayed so long that we waited an hour if not more for the food. For food that is okay to good and an understaffed kitchen, it doesn't seem like an ideal place to return, unless my friends invite me out and this is their birthday brunch/dinner spot. I think had the kitchen staff been manegeable, I think I would have liked the food slightly better, because experiences sometimes colors our perception of taste. Go for curiosity, but prepare for a long wait.

First, let me just say that everyone has different taste, and different preferences when it comes to corned beef, and different ways of cooking and seasoning corned beef. With that said, I have to say that the corned beef at this restaurant is not to my preference. I ordered one hotcake which was good. I ordered the corned beef sandwich, which was not tender enough for my liking, plus the taste was so so. I also ordered the corned beef hash. Sorry, but it was not to my liking. Not sure if it was the brand of beef, or the seasonings used to cook, but it had a not so good smell...I had to hold my nose while eating...not sure if that is what it was supposed to smell like; plus it did not even taste like corned beef hash, and it was real greasy. This place has good reviews, so I don't want to take away the positives of this restaurant, but it is just not for me. I have finally given up looking for good corned beef here in Houston...I will have to wait until I return to Cleveland, Ohio (Slyman's). Now that is where you can find deliciously flavored, juicy, tender, and melt in your mouth corned beef. Just a side note -- this restaurant was clean, and employees were friendly.

The dark tint on the widows make it difficult to see in - I wasn't sure they were open. And the restaurant is super clean. So much so that it does smell of cleaning product - they might want to pull back on that a bit. Good bagels (they better be in Bellaire) and delicious coffee. Challah French toast. Corned beef. All high quality. This place deserves a larger clientele. Way better than Katz's or Kenny and Ziggy's. Welcome to New York - in Htown.

I've got to tell it like it is: Been here at least 7 times and never have I ordered and got what I ordered correct. It's been a running joke. It's like going to Popeyes Chicken drive through.

I've been going next door since they opened, so when my call in order rolled over next door your first assumption would be no big deal same ownership and family business but was I SOOOOO Wrong. I will never be back here and to be honest probably for good. Had I known that something as simple as a everything bagel toasted with cream cheese and a side of lox would've caused so much trouble I would've just ordered from a place closer. After two trips, a brief discussion with a woman (was told she was the manager) about how I ordered but unable to get her to understand that what I called and received, along with my explanation of how things went clearly didn't make it's point home so I left with the knowledge I'd be buying breakfast elsewhere and my portion would unfortunately be a waste. Unfortunately I won't be supporting the NY Eatery, but I'll definitely be placing my order at the original location to avoid this all again.

So, I made an order an order on a holiday that I'm not familiar with. I was still able to make the order and came for pickup. To my dismay, it was closed. There were maybe around 4 cars that came and just left so I assumed they didn't know as well. I contacted them about the issue. I got the whole, my apologies, we forgot about shutting the online order off and was told I'd get it delivered to my place at whatever time. I was really surprised and almost impressed at the way it was handled at first until no one came. Not only no one came, we played a little message tag for some time until he said to email or contact a number. I text the number but I'm getting hit with a prompt that lets me know that they are busy. I no longer want to food or any false promises, just my 40 bucks please! Thank you! It's a shame because I order the same thing regularly. I'm a bit sad that it had to end this way!

I've been craving a turkey rueben sandwich, and this place delivered. Made just the way I requested. We had a table of 8 people and everyone liked there food. The menu is enormous with lots of variety, so everyone found something they liked. I would say that the food was a little slow to the table so give yourself a little extra time if you have a big table. But service was good and the hosts were funny.

Only 1 Star- this is my fist time only giving 1 star.... We went to eat on Sunday around 1. There were about 10-15 people in there. I was so excited to try it. But it was such a disappointment! The food was bland at best. My husband and I both ordered the Avocado Toast after the waitress recommended it. It looked like it would taste so good.... But didn't. There was absolutely no flavor. And the tomatoes were about to your sour. It was awful. We also ordered the GF pancakes- they were gummy and bland. It was so very disappointing. The service was also not good. Our waitress came 2 times: to take our order and help deliver the food. She never came back- and it wasn't a busy day. We might go back to try it again- bc like I said, I want it to be good.

I have been to this place twice. I wanted to like this place but both times were disappointing. The Potato Latkes were bland and flavourless. The coffee was weak. The vegetable cream cheese was also bland. A grocery store bought vegetable cream cheese has more flavor than what is served here.
