P. King Authentic Chinese Food

As me and my girlfriend was finna walk in soon as we opened the door you got this big table right by the door you gotta squeeze in literally the place is already so small and the. A mysterious scary Asian Chinese woman came out rudely didn’t greet us or nothing and just handed us a menu. Yea something evil bout her it’s in her face but I do not recommend and wouldn’t even trust they food who knows what they do back there -0/10 they need to be shut down

I made a to-go order and tried the duck with fried rice, and my mother and daughter got the vegetable low mein with the vegetables on the side. It was amazing! It was so flavorful and fresh! There were 2 women at the front one on the register and another greeting dine in customers and the customer pick up line. They were so friendly and gave plenty of these crunchy fried wontons that paired excellently with our meals. We left a tip, the service was so good!

I ordered rare filet. as you can see, they ruined my entire meal by cooking to well done. it's awful and now it's trash. thanks for wasting my time!!! I put the over cooked garbage where it belonged.

Don't order here if you want them to give you rare meat, the way every other Vietnamese place offers it. now I have to find food to eat because they ruined MY dinner for the night. thanks guys!

update: good job guys, you also ate almost all the duck skin off and left me with dry meat. roasted disappointment

All the sauces were way off. The dumpling sauce tasted like straight vinegar. The gravy for the egg foo young was watery and had a chicken flavor which is weird because that would not go with pork or steak and not traditional brown gravy. The egg drop soup had no flavor. The place was 1 mile away and arrived warm, not hot. This is a place that puts cinnamon or nutmeg in the egg rolls, so if that’s not your taste, you know. Some places do some don’t. Not my thing , it over powers the other flavors of the ingredients. Cold greasy egg rolls under any circumstance are not good. The chicken fried rice was good. My guess is the oil is old as everything fried tasted like it or it sat too long spoiling a fresh fry. I spent $80 and the only thing truly edible was the chicken Fri rice. Typically, egg foo young has brown gravy, not watery chicken without green onions , as I mentioned, also, there was not a choice for pork, that usually great so I went with steaks already thinking ? hmm and the steak that was in it was chewy and not appetizing.
Super bummed. I can say in all my years I’ve never had so many bad dishes so bad. It was my first time ordering here . I did because they were one of a very few places make egg foo young and they did.

Holy cow, I didn't know someone could mess up this bad, making chinese food. I used to go to this franchise on westhimer and decided to go to the Bellaire one for a change and I gotta say I had an awful experience with the food, I ordered Beef with Mixed Veggies, Wonton soup with Egg Roll combo. Let me start by saying the portion Is small compared to other chinese fast food restaurants especially for the price i paid $18, beef was hard and dry the rice was alright and the only good thing about the whole combo was the veggies it came with. The egg roll wasn't even an egg roll. The eggs inside of it were hard like dry white cheese, I couldn't eat it all. I knew something was off. I thought to myself, the wonton soup gotta be it. No way, it could be bad. So I ate it up and towards the end of the soup the water/broth started to taste bitter. I was like, what the heck is going on with this place? I overpaid for a bad experience. How is this even possible ? I was full of regret and told myself I'm never going back. I'm not sure if it was because it was my first time ordering call in there but ain't no way they should be making food the way they served me today. Although the food was horrible the environment is nice, the staff are cool too, but when it came to the food, all of that went straight out of the window. After 15min of eating I started to feel sick threw up the Egg roll and got the runs ?? I'm not making this up PLEASE? if you go to this restaurant make sure you dine in because ain't no way they can get away with this terrible takeout service.
